Name: Rafey Bakejesy Age: 25 Class: thief Race: Vulpes Job: bandit Eye Color: black Hair Color: red Height: 6'2" Weight: 180 Birthplace: Chakis |
Rafey Bakejesy Appearance: Dressed in black from head to foot, Rafey wears light trousers lined with pockets, a sleeveless tunic and a heel length sleeveless duster. As with all Vulpes, he sports a pair of furry reddish-orange ears and a fluffy tail of the same color, tipped in white fur. His ears are laced with black fur and his long red hair falls braided to the hip. On either forearm he wears a thick metallic bracer, the alloy of which can only be found within the Chakis swamps of the Vulpes homeland. Background: Born in the backwater Vulpes city of Chakis, Rafey is the eldest of five children. Their mother having died of a strange illness a year after their birth and their father having died in the war between Chakis and Dremsfelln a month before, Rafey and his siblings were raised by their grandfather. The physically stronger of brothers and sisters, he was taught by his grandfather to continue the legacy of the Bakejesy family as that of superior rogues. Strengths: Taught to wield a weapon as soon as he could walk, Rafey is an exceptional combatant possessing a variety of martial skills. His weapons of choice are a pair of thin, triangular stiletto, given to him at the age of three by his grandfather, a legendary Vulpes rogue. His phenomenal endurance allows him to generally wear down his opponent with little to no effort, and it is for this reason alone that many employers seek him by name. Weaknesses: A chilling denial of emotion is both one of Rafey's strengths and a weakness. He remains close to only one person, another Vulpes, but he regards all other races and even those of his own with an exceptional air of caution. He is very susseptable to psychic attacks and manipulations, and though resistant to elemental spells, he is weaker against other forms of magic. Other: Drafted into the war with Dremsfelln at the age of 15, Rafey abandoned his post as a scout on the front lines to return to Chakis after receiving word that his grandfather had fallen ill. Without their scout to monitor enemy movements, all but one member of his batallion was slain when they were ambused in their sleep. The one survivor has since become his only constant companion, and the guilt of the deaths of more than 50 Vulpes soldiers still haunts him. |
