| Background: Though he won't tell anyone the actual truth about his past, it is believed that his real name is Alabaster Montsarat and he is the second son of two of Virsalga's most gifted artisans. The record of his birth has long been destroyed, most likely by Bastion himself. He stayed out of the public's conscious awareness until he met and married Masami Kata, the heiress of Kata Towers in Crimson City. Bastion took over control of Kata Towers after the untimely demise of his wife. Strengths: Bastion has an eye for detail, he can remember even the minutest little thing about a person from the color of their shirt buttons to any dirt under their fingernails. He's an earth elemental, so strong against thunder, wind and fire; and has a natural ability to petrify something just by touching it-if he so desires, another touch and he can revive his victim completely. Weaknesses: The element of water is his elemental weakness, and he's a compulsive liar, therefore half of whatever Bastion tells you is far from being true-including his name. Other: Bastion can use his chisels like knives and often does, they're razor sharp and can actually cause a lot of damage. The only real truth of his background is that his family was, indeed; artisans, other than that, it varies each time he tells it. He loathes Shi Virtuous and her cohort Sly Tani, his calm-headed rage focussed on their destruction after the death of Masami. |
