The
Icy wind suddenly gushes past you chilling you to the bone,
your silk coat now drenced lays matted across your heaving back.
The stormed rain begins to belt down faster as you glare around
at the mountanous surroundings. You begin to trot cautiously
up the slope and along the cliff edge, slipping and sliding
as you go.
Suddenly, in the distance you pick out a high-pitched neigh.
You dart your head up towards the faint, yet ever growing lowder
sound. Yor acute ears try to focas harder on the point of the
location. Exitibly you climb up the enshrouded slopes realising
what the sound is. You finally reach the top and watch as under
a quick lightning flash a herd of clear unicorns gallop into
the clearing. The pounding rain as if not effecting their pure
manes. Then as the second lightning flash appears your heart
beats as it gazes at most amazing sight. A stallion suddenly
leaps up onto his hind legs, rearing in greeting. His ghost
like mane whisps madly in the wind as if spray from a waterfall.
A loud lightning strikes, you shy away petrifyed by the sound.
But the herd remains grazing peacefully unafraid of the storm,
as if they were part of the storm itself. The stallion once
again calls to you to follow him, and now it is up to your young
heart to decide......................
