Love is the Sweetest Thing

Hikari paced back and forth in his room, "Is this really something I want to do?" he thought, Mairrage, a three years ago he would have jumped at the chance, but now he was scared to death.

Hikage walked in, " Why do you look so scared, you look like Lord of the Rings just got banned. OH MY HECK IT DID!!!!! DON"T TELL ANYONE!!!! SHAKAKU WILL...."

Hikage was cut off by Hikari,"No, its just..." Hikari trailed off.

Hikage knew, "You have cold feet don't you?" Hikari sighed and looked down at his feet. There was a silence seemed to last an hour but in actuality it was more like a minute. The silence was broken by Hikage asking, "What are you scared of?" Hikari sighed again,

"I'm just afraid that Kuro and I wont like each other anymore once we've been living together for a few years."

Hikage smirked, "Hikari you should be in the movies" Hikari looked surprised, "Seriously," Hikage said, "How can you think this! I've seen you and Kuro! I've seen how you look at each other! You have the stuff poets would die to put into words." Hikari thought about this for a minute, a spark of hope appeared, but it was quickly diminished by his torrential rain of doubt, he looked despondent once more.

"What if..." Hikage quickly cut Hikari off, "What if! What if!" Hikage shouted, "If you need any confirmation of your love look outiside!" Hikari got up and looked through his cabin window, he saw her, Kuro, dressed in an elegant wedding dress, waiting near the pulpit, Hikari remembered a night two years ago when he and Kuro shared their first kiss, he remembered how she looked that night, she looked perfect, now she looked even better than that now, angelic,

" In heaven if theres anything better than an angel thats what Kuro is right now." Hikari thought, Hikage laughed,

"Why are you worrying! Saying things like that why do you have any doubts about your love!" Hikage pulled Hikari up, "Some times people like you just need a push in the right direction!"and with that Hikage shoved Hikari out the door with all his might, "AND DON"T COME BACK TILL YOUR MARRIED!!!!" Hikage shouted at Hikari as he walked to the bow of the Silver Flame (Hikari's quarters were on the stern). Hikage caught up to Hikari, "You'll be ok." Hikage said, "Remember, a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step." Hikage and Hikari began to walk to the pulpit,

"Why did I choose you for my best man?" Hikari whispered,

"Because I'm the only man on board." Hikage answered It was true, they were out in the middle of the Carribean,

"Why did you push me out?" Hikari asked furiosly "Would you rather had me let you stay in that room forever!" Hikari was about to object but he was quickly cut off by Hikage, "SHHH! we're nearing the pulpit." Suddenly all thoughts escaped Hikari's head, He saw Kuro standing there in a pure white wedding dress, for some moments in life there are no words.

It was a beatiful ceremony, and when Hikari and Kuro kissed, everyone cheered, and it was the most perfect moment in the world.

Several hours later the Silver Flame dropped it anchor at an island dubbed by the captain Enjuku, or perfection. Enjuku was to be the place for Hikari and Kuro's honeymoon. On the island was several fruit bearing trees and bushes, several small stores of rum, and a beachfront cabin with a goose feather bed. Hikari rowed Kuro out on the small dingy with two weeks worth of provisions, and clothes. They waved goodbye to the Silver Flame.

Six Months Later

Hikari walked into Kuro's and His new cabin on the Silver Flame, Hikage had given up his so that the wall between his and Hikaris could be torn down to make room for Kuro.

Kuro was sitting in the huge armchair the Shakaku had given them for their wedding. Kuro was crocheting, yes crocheting. Hikari was very surprised, Kuro never did any of the girly things that... well that girls do. "What are you crocheting?" Hikari asked,

"A little cap." Kuro answered,

"Why?" Hikari asked,

"To go with these little pyjamas I just made." Kuro said,

"But why are you crocheting in the first place?" Hikari asked,

"Well the new baby will need some clothes." Kuro said blandly,

"Bbbb, BbbBaby!" Hikari exclaimed, "How long have you known,

"Since last night." Kuro said a little more exitedly, "its due in July!"

Hikari was a little dazed, "You mean this little persons been growing inside you for a month now!"

"YES" Kuro almost shouted in utter delight.

"Well we need to think of a name for it." Hikari said,

"I like Yuumei." Kuro said,

"Yuumei?" Hikari said, "I like it."

Hikage: So as you can see this story ends happily. And for those of you who don't know, Yuumei means light and dark in Japanese

Hikage: Soo until next time...

Kuro: THERE HE IS!!!!!!!!!
