Hi to all of you and thanks for stopping by. I'm Danielle. As far as I know, my name is French, but is the feminine form of the name "Daniel." It means "Judged by god," although, I'm not sure what I think about that. If I could pick my own name, I'd choose Gwen (Gwenevere) because it's my favorite name. And "Gwen the Pink-haired Faery" sounds more interesting. I am a post-secondary student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and this past April (2003) I completed my first year. My plan is to get a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in English and possibly a minor in Biology. For now I'm off for the summer, but I will be heading back to study in the fall. I also plan to get an Education degree and teach secondary (junior to high) school, preferrably high school. I would be an exciting teacher, because I would wear striped socks. (I sometimes call myself "Exciting Sock Girl.") My biggest dream, though, is to be a writer. I want to write amazing fantasy novels and have people enjoy the stories I tell. I plan to get working on my first novel very soon. I also like to write poetry, although I have no desire to publish it. Maybe I will post some eventually...
