Jon says:

Greek architecture is very crucial when it comes to influencing American architecture today. Usually I would of looked the architecture over unless it was a column or very extravagant building that looked Greek or from somewhere else other than America. Yet, as I found out the Greeks have a lot more influence on how architecture is built in America than I thought. The Greeks have continually been influencing us, Americans, and our types of architecture ever since the Greek Revival. I think that as time grows the "Greek architecture" that will be remembered will only be the grand buildings, but the influence will always be there. The Greeks helped American architecture take its roots and to be unique. American architecture is what it is today only because of the constant influences from other countries' architecture, especially Greek.
