The Gizallery

this project started about a month ago when i bout it from a friends neighbor for 70$ canadian.since then i and a friend have done alot of work on it. it is not complete but getting there slowly. maybe finished in a month or two.

nemisis's rebuildation page

this is pretty much what we started with some things we had already stripped off but this was a day or two after i bought it.

these are dual disc brakes that are stock and came with the whole package. their pretty cool and i bet they will stop on a dime.

this engine is originally from a golf cart along with the differential you will see in pictures below. the guy that really built this before me was obviously a nutcase. and welded everything in sight.

the restoration begins

this is the gear out of the differential that needed to be fixed and i'll post some soon of it fixed.

this is the differential or gearbox this was the main problem of the entire trike. it had a huge crack down the side and the main gear inside was missing teeth. keeping the machine from running.

me working away trying to strip the paint off so that i can prime and repaint it. by the way this part is the front forks.

this front fork was not originally this long. it was origanlly a minibike front end. someone added on

this is the seat we(i and a friend) took the padding off and i sand blasted the metal. then i put foam over it and apolistered it.

here's the finished project

this is the before shot of the gas tank it was starting to rust and had big dents in it. so i bought some bondo and started patching it up after i grinded all the paint off.

this is just one of the tires and not the worst one. nothing a good hour of hand sanding can't take care of.

just finished primering

this is a finish product of the front forks

this is the messed up gear.

this is what is left of the throttle just like on a motorcycle.

the first silver coating on the rims.

the other day i got bored so i decided to assemble the trike before it was finished. and it was well worth it.

there is stil some work to do like welding the frame to the axle and painting the frame orange.

just a greasy old pic
