Working with Spreadsheets
In Session 2, you will create, proof, edit, format, customize, save, and then print a workbook. You will improve your efficiency working with Excel. By the end of this session, you will know how to apply these skills to any workbook you create.

1. Read Session 2 in the Excel text.

2. Perform steps in Session 2 saving the "Sales Projections" and "Problem Report" files in the working folder on your data disk.

3. Perform the Hands-On exercises at the end of Session 2 saving the

"Expenses - Qtr 2," "Expenses - Formatted," and "Memorandum" files in the working folder on your data disk. You do not need to print out these files.

4. Complete the Madrid Clothing Company Case Problem at the end of Session 2 creating the "Lucky 7" file and saving it in the working folder on your data disk.

5. Backup your Excel data disk and submit the six files by attaching them to an e-mail message as illustrated in class.
