CHAINED FREEDOM

Screaming bloody hollow mess inside
When you look in my eyes, you turn, run and hide
Is it my truths looking back at you
Or the lies you believe that will never come true
Hide from the truth, escaping in your lies
Censoring all that disproves your city in the skies

Face reality, harsh and brutal humanity
Close you eyes, open your mind
Leave your shallow world behind
Enlightened minds struggle inside
Break out of my skin, detached from pride

Blistering intent burns inside me
Eat your shallow soul, is it all too frightening
Blackened heart breeds discontent, fires burning brightly
I'll stand here on my own as my boundaries are tightening
You tell me that I'm free then obstruct another road
Expect me to follow you, it's not my soul that's been sold

Don't face reality, harsh and brutal humanity
Close your mind, open your eyes
Stagnant minds rotting in the sands of time
Ignorance is bliss, your existence is sublime

Keep yourself to yourself
Stay the hell away from me
Hurtle obstructions, set myself free
Out of my skin, out of my mind
Travels surpassing the sands of time
