Anonymous- OK there is this guy I like... I have known him since i was like five and all so we are really close friends. But when I was little, little crushes didn't mean much... I mean this guy is sweet and nice and he listens... understands... ok i am obsessed and droning on... The problem- I moved an hour and a half away from my old hometown. I talk to him online and all but it isn't the same. I am afraid to ask him out...AGAIN.. cause well I don't know if he likes me and long distance stuff never works out... I am thinking I should just give up all together and move on with life... Everyone knows I do that enough as it is. *Ok, well, this has never happened to me, but I believe that you should give it another try. He's a very close friend of yours, so it shouldn't have any affect on your friendship whatsoever. If you're still uncertain and think that it might ruin things, try hinting at it or tell him you want to ask him something, but you're scared things may not be the same. Try and see if he has feelings for you too. Things may work out better than you plan.
