"Just"
I would've moved Earth and Time for you
But you're not there anymore.
Just a Shadow
I would've bathed you in white rose petals
But the sun has dried them up.
Just a Dream
I would've spun your heavens with my hair
But I cut it all off.
Just an Illusion
I would've died a thousand deaths
For one moment in your arms.
Just a Vision
I would've made myself into
Your beautiful world.
Just a Wish
I would've made you immortal
With my love.
Just a Confusion
I would've held you
While you were in pain.
Just an Emotion
I would've watched you sleep
With my head beside yours.
Just a Wanting
I would've covered you in satin
And lavender and willow.
Just a Body
But I won't.
You don't exist.
Or you're some distant memory.
Either way, I will not have you.
I cannot.
Because it is you,
You are my perfection.
