How not Sweet, the Sound!

Does anyone here use the word "freakin" frequently? Let's say, more than 6 times a day? You do? Yuck! You're not my friend anymore

I've always had a huge annoyance for the word. Especially when females say it, it sounds so vulgar.

For example: "He's such a freakin jerk!" or "I did so freakin bad on my test today!" or "Piano lessons are so freakin boring!"

You notice, do you not, that everytime I have written "freakin", it is with an exclamation mark. You just can't use the word without exclaiming it!

Now, let's see a live example. Here is Jimmy. He is a normal human being, let's say, a Christian. He is talking with his non-Christian friend, Giddy. Now, let's see what happens to them when they use the word "freakin."

Now watch closely....

Wow! See that! She didn't even finish her sentence! Not even half a second and look what happened to Giddy! What a mess! huh? Jimmy's responding...maybe he'll say somthing that will help Giddy, being a Christian and all...

Uh uh! Not again Giddy! Jimmy, please help her out...

Not you too Jimmy! Oh no!

Well, I hope you see that even Christians can look horrible when they say the word "freakin." In fact, anyone does! Take me for example, I used to use the word all the time in high school. check out the before and after.

So if you want to be my friend, don't use "freakin," it's such a turn off. There are many wonderful alternatives that don't sound so vulgar, such as "soooo" etc. To those of you habitual "freakin"ers, Get well soon
