"Tay, Where are you?!" Zac practically screamed into the phone. It was nearly 12:30 and he had never known for his brother to stay out that long.
"Im at the police--station," He said quickly.
"What?! The Police Station? What the heck are you doing there?" Zac shouted into the phone. He then had to hold his hand over the mouth piece because Jessica was sleeping in the other room, and the walls were paper thin.
"Wow man. Not so loud, I have a major head ache," Taylor said and put his hand up to his ear. He looked around the police station and saw that Sarah was arguing with some woman at the counter.
"Tay your drunk! Where's Sarah? If I ever get my hands on her..."
"Zac it's okay. She just arguing with some police officer. We were at some party out in this feild and the cops showed up. But somehow, we were the only two caught..." Taylor said slowly and closed his eyes. He put pressure on his head, to try and make the pain go away.
"You were at a Rave?! Those things are illegal. No wonder you got busted. Look, I guess I'll have to call Ike to go pick you up, but he's not gonna be happy with this. Just stay there," Zac said calmly and hung up the phone.
He picked up the phone again to call Ike's number, but noticed that Jessie was standing in the doorway.
"Zac what is it? Where's Tay?" She said in a graugy voice.
"It's nothing Jess. Just go back to sleep okay. He's fine. Just go to sleep," He told his sister. Jessie shrugged her shoulders and went back to bed.
"Young lady. I highly suggest you get out of my face, and just go sit down beside you little boyfriend there. He looks llke he's about the through up this mornings breakfast and he may need your shoes," The woman said with a serious tone. Sarah sighed a breath of frustration and went to sit by Taylor.
"God! That woman really gets on my nerves!" She exclaimed to Taylor. He was bent over with his head in his hands.
"Not so loud okay?" He said in a moaning voice.
"What's wrong with you? You act like you've never been drunk before," She replied with a small laugh.
"Yeah, that's it. My brother's gonna kill me. Not to mention you," He said in a low tone again.
"Oh God Tay. This is your first hang over isn't it?" Sarah said and she couldn't believe her words. By the look of this boy, she was sure he had been around the block more then once.
"Well, don't worry. It'll all be over by morning. I should have known Rorie would get you in trouble. What all did she give you?"
"I don't know Sarah. Some kind of white clear stuff, and some RoseMary or something," He replied just as Isaac stormed into the room.
"Oh God," Taylor moaned and stood up slowly. He knew that this was not going to be good. Especially by the look on Ike's face. And his parents were definitly going to hear about this.
"Taylor! Get your butt in the car now! We'll talk about this later," Isaac ordered and looked at his brother angrily.
"Geez Ike. You sound like dad."
"Well he is gonna hear about this ya know? And as for you young lady! My father isn't going to appreciate you getting Taylor drunk. Especially after what you did to Avery."
"Im sorry Ike. I didn't know he'd get drunk. I actually thought he has been drunk before. He went off with my friend, and when I found him, he was....
"Just shut up Sarah. We're going home," Her mother said and Sarah turned to see Linda at her side.
"Mom?! What are you doing here?" Sarah asked suprisingly.
"Im here to take your sorry butt home. When I should just leave you here. Im sick and tired of getting your but out of trouble, Sarah. And this time your gonna have to go back to that school. This time for good!" Linda yelled in frustration as she pushed her daughter out of the building.
"Im terribly sorry about this Isaac. Sarah won't be bothering your family anymore. Tell your father that I'll call him tomorrow," Linda said as she guided Sarah over the the car.
"Well, I hope they will both learn their lesson."
"Look Ike! This isn't my fault. I was just having a good time and this girl gave me something to drink. I had no idea it was beer...." Taylor shouted, which made his head hurt even worse.
"Tell that to mom and dad, Tay!" Isaac said and started the engine. "That girl is no good for you or anyone else. She needs major help," Isaac said as he drove back to Taylor's apartment.
"It wasn't her fault either. We didn't do anything wrong. It's just a party.
"Well whose fault is it then? Those kind of parties are where people get drunk, high or worse. People can get killed there Tay. I thought you knew that," Isaac said looking over at his brother with a disappointing look.
"It wasn't hers. She just left me with one of her friends and she gave me the drinks. I didn't know what they were. And Sarah and I were leaving, when the cops came. He didn't even charge us with anything. It's all just stupid," Taylor replied as Ike pulled up to his apartment.
"Fine. We'll talk about this later with mom and dad. Your head must be throbbing. Just go to sleep and it'll be okay," Isaac said as the front door was opened by Zac.
"Wow Tay you look like crap," He whispered as his brothers came through the door.
"Thanks man, you are crap," Taylor retorted, trying to be funny.
"Oh, Sorry Tay. That one wasn't that bright. Just go to sleep okay?" Zac said as he followed Tay down to his room.
"Just leave me alone Zac," Taylor said and slammed the door. He took off his jacket and crashed down on his bed.
Zac wondered back to the living room, where Isaac was up watching t.v.
"Your not sleepy?" Zac asked quietly, just before he was hit with a loud yawn.
"No Im more mad at myself right now. I'm the oldest and Im supposed to be watching out for you guys when mom and dad are away."
"Ike man. Don't get down on yourself. It's not your fault. Tay just screwed up this time. It's that girl, whose gonna get it. She's trash, and I hope her mom kicks her tail for it," Zac said and sat down on the couch.
"Well Mr. Taylor doen't think she's to blame. He said it's some other girl who got him drunk. One of Sarah's friends," Ike said and took a sip of his Dr. Pepper.
"Well, Im gonna crash right here for the night. Keep the t.v. low will ya?" Zac said and turned off the table side lamp.
"Night Zac," Isaac said and turned off the t.v. He wondered around Taylor's apartment and found himself in the kitchen. Taylor hadn't taken out the trash in what seemed like weeks, and there were Coke and Dr. Pepper cans overflowing the trashcan.
"Man this place is a dump," Ike thought to himself as he noticed a piece of paper that was stuffed down inside a can. He opened it up and read the neat message written inside.
Dear Diary:
Im over at Taylor's house and his brother's are here. They don't seem to like me much. Especially the youngest one, Zac. I wish I could be accepted into their little circle. I wish I were like them. Or maybe just Taylor. He seems so perfect. And he's really nice to me.
I can't believe our parent's used to be good friends back then. Mr. Hanson reminds me of my dad, and Taylor seems like the perfect brother.
I hope nobody reads this, cause I don't want them all thinking Im some freak who doesn't have friends of her own.
I just can't be sent back to that school. No with the way they abused me. I can't tell anyone. Not even my mom...maybe Taylor would understand, but I don't know...I don't know if I can trust him...
In Secret

Isaac quickly crumpled up the paper and stuffed it back into the Coke can. He didn't know if Taylor had read it or not. He was just glad he had.
Isaac returned to the living room and found Zac snoring away on the couch. He stuffed a pillow over his face, then Isaac reclined himself back in the blue Lazyboy, and soon he was fast asleep.
