Novice- Racers new to the sport. Must run stock class ROAR approved motors in electric. If a beginner turns lap times consistant with a higher class, the Track Director will move the driver into a higher class. If enough entrants show up, 2 Novice classes will be held, one for electric, one for gas.

Sportsman- More advanced racers working on their skills. May also be bumped up to expert if the driver consistantly shows outstanding lap times.

Expert- This class is to include all sponsored drivers (shop, manufacture, or distributor sponsored). This also includes any driver who has qualified for the A-main at any ROAR or NORRCA regional, or national event and any driver who can consistantly turn in a very high number of laps.

Classes other than those listed may also be run provided that there are at least 3 entries.*** (ie- Rally Cars, Spec classes, Vintage, Masters, ect)

Similar classes may be combined if there are not enough entries for seperate classes. For example, if we only have 2 people sign up for stock buggy, and 1 person sign up for stock truck, we will combine all three entries to make one class of Stock Off-road.

###General Rules###

RC racing is a fun and family sport. Some racers can't seem to remember that. We have no problem banning poor sportsmen from the track, and we have a zero tolerance policy on cursing and throwing items.

MXRC is all about great sportmanship. With this in mind, here are some general rules and guidelines.

1. Cursing, or abusive language from the drivers stand, track building, or pit area, will result in the racer being warned the first offense, and being asked to leave without refund on the second.

2. If you throw your transmitter or car, and you will be asked to leave without refund.

3. NO alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are permitted at ANY time. You WILL be banned PERIOD.

4. Transmitters can only be turned on while on the drivers stand, or in the gas lane.

5. Cars can only finish a race under their own power.

6. Driving cars in the pit area is strictly prohibited during races. If you really need to tune/check your car between heats, contact the track director, and he will make sure you get a chance between heats to work out your problems.

7. Do NOT SCREAM OR CURSE at the turn marshals. Turn marshals do not intentionally overlook your car. They often get distracted, but do not scream or curse at them. If you do verbally abuse a marshal, you will be verbally warned the first offense, and asked to leave without refund on the second.

8. EVERYONE must marshal after their race. If you race back-to-back, then YOU are responsible for getting a replacement. Let the Track Director know if you can't find one, we WILL help you. If you or your replacement miss your turn marshalling, then you will be docked 2 laps on your next race.

9. Drivers must return the transponders IMMEDIATELY after their race or risk being docked laps.

10. Unsportsmanlke driving will result in a 2 lap penalty, or possibly being asked to leave without refund.

11. Jumping the start will result in restarting from the last starting spot on the grid.

12. Driving backwards on the track may result in a 2 lap penalty or DQ.

13. Applying the throttle while being marshalled may result in NOT being marshalled, and a 2 lap penalty.

14. Random tech inspections SHOULD be expected.

15. If you have any type of problem, contact the Track Director, Club President, or Club Vice President. Do not yell at any of them, you WILL get banned, period. Calmly voice your dispute. We are here for the racers, we will bend over backwards to make sure everything is right.

16. We are only racing "toy" cars, and this isn't the world championships. We are here to have fun, and if you are ruining the fun for someone else by being a poor sportman, expect to be asked to leave.

17. Hacking- if you intentionally hack someone, you will be verbally warned the first offense, and asked to leave without refund on the second. If you "accidentally" hack someone, back off and let them in front of you again. If you hack another racer and don't back down to let them pass you back, expect a verbal warning on the first offense, and to be asked to leave without refund on the second. We just want to set the standard in this area for clean, sportman like driving. We are out here to have fun, so let's not let hacking ruin it for anybody. If you are going to pass someone, make it a CLEAN pass.

18. Track Directors rulings are final.

19. MXRC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
