This is a little story about a racers parents. They were very generous people at heart, and figured they would help out the pathetic people running Rip-Offs Raceways, so they gave them a large amount of hot dogs. It was a wonderful giving gesture for someone to do for the Rip Offs.
Strangely, later in the day, when the people that donated the food got hungery, they went up to the food stand to get something to eat. They ordered some hot dogs, and guess what?? They had to PAY to eat the hot dogs they had just Donated earlier in the day!!! These are the real low class, mobile home living, gum toothed morons you'll find once you get past the fake hillbilly "Good Ole' Folks" facaud.
BTW- The Rip Offs are so lazy they've had the local preacher cut firewood for them. (and of course they didn't pay him)
They are so lazy and tight assed that they have never even built their own track, EVER. Not the one by the highway, the oval, or the current track. They always play the redneck moron roles and have other people design and build their track for them. Anytime they can have someone else do the work for them, they will, and because their track is private, every penny made only goes into their pockets, no matter how much of the real work is done by other people. Pretty pathetic when track owners do nearly zero of the track design and building. L A Z Y, and you'ld think they were common street beggers by the way they accept charity and give nothing in return. The more work they can get other people to do, and the more things they can get people to donate to the track, the more money they make, and the happier they are. They pride themselves in making people beleive their track is "sort of" like a club, so it's ok to give and give with no return, when in reality, it's a money making private track where the owners should be paying for everything out of the profit, and doing all the work themselves, or paying the proper people to do it.

Speaking of Lazy, guess how long it took for Mr Rip Off to get up the local street signs? The time is measure in years, and it's still not done.

So much ugly, where to start? LOL
Ok, let's get down to what happened to the original Rip-off Raceways r/c club. (pre- 1999)
Let's start with the facts.
1. Members paid club dues
2. Members raised money via selling food at estate sales.
3. Members raised money by selling raffle tickets for a quilt (stupid i know, and i didn't hardly believe it myself, but it's for real. LOL)
4. Much more money was raised via entry fees.
Now, guess where all this club money went?
A club bank account? LOL... nope.
It ALL went into Mr and Mrs Rip-offs Personal bank account.
When club members would ask about the state of the club money, they were told it was "none of their business".
When all the club members quit, and the club was disbanded, guess where all the club money went?
Straight into Mr and Mrs Rip-offs pocket. Not one penny EVER went to any of the other club members. Nice little payday for running off every racer they had.
Oh, and before i forget, guess who drank the most beer at the track during the "club" days? Yup, your favorate theives, Mr and Mrs Rip-off! They even encouraged drinking until yours truely and Ty told them r/c and beer shouldn't mix.
Next update- a not so tastey tid-bit about some "donated" food. 8x)

Autoscore
How many local clubs have worked long and hard to make enough money to buy Autoscore?? Lots. Lots of sweat, lots of long hours.
But one hasn't. Guess who?
Yup, Rip Off Raceways hasn't. They use an illegal copy of Autoscore. They didn't pay one red cent for it.
So why can they just steal theirs, while everyone else has to pay? Good Question. Perhaps a good question to ask the good folks at Autoscore who are just trying to put food on their tables via sales of r/c software.
While the MXRC crew isn't going to call them, that doesn't keep anyone else who has worked their arses off to buy Autoscore from calling to see why Rip Off Raceways gets to run an illegal copy. 8x) Btw, you can find the number to Autoscore on their website. 8x)
Wouldn't you think the Baffoon and Mrs Rip OFF that run Rip Off Raceways would pay for a legal copy of Autoscore? Do they constantly feel the need to steal? Sure looks like it.
Also, it wouldn't look good for Mr Rip OFF if people knew he is using illegal Autoscore when he runs to be ROAR Region 8 Director next election.
Stay tuned for the next Ugly update, where will we dive into what really happened to all the money raised by the original Novelty R/C Club back in 98-99. 8x)

We have been receiving email at MXRC regarding track conditions at Rip-Off Raceways. We must say none of us have ANYTHING to do with that track anymore (thank GOD).
If you have a problem with rain ruts and kickers at the base of the jumps, and ruts and rollers in he corners and straights, contact Mr and Mrs Rip-Off Raceways.
If you are having a problem with p*ss poor lighting, we suggests you contact Mr and Mrs Rip-off, and ask them to break down and spend some of the money they stole from charity on REAL lights.
If you are tired of the same layout over and over again each weekend, once again, contact Mr and Mrs Rip-off.
Once again, let us state for the record, if you are having problems at Rip-off Raceways, don't contact us, we are tired of hearing the complaints. (but they sure have been entertaining emails... LOL)
You only have to wait another 5 months and the best track in NEMO will be open. 8x)

Fact: Rex lied to the Charity telling them, and sending them made up material that only a "portion" of the 03' entry fees were to go to charity. Fact is, Rex and Jena only posted an entry form on their dot com that said nothing about how much was going to charity. Whatever they sent to the charity was made up well after the fact to cover their rear ends.
Fact: Rex and Jena mearly through in some bucks to even the donation amount to 300, while planning on keeping all entry fees for themselves.
Fact: HALF the entry fees for the 01 Olympics was donated to the charity. Rex, Jim, Ty and Tim all agreed on half to be donated.
Fact: After being busted by Tim and Jim, HALF the entry fees from the 02 event finally made it to the charity after well over a year, and after Tim and Jim were initially told the charity had received the money from both Rex and Jena Franke.
Fact: It has been posted many times on the official R/C Olympics site, and verbally told many times that half the entry fees were to be donated to the charity.
Fact: There was no approval given to Rex and Jena Franke from the event co-ordinator to withhold more than half the racers entry fee money from the 03' event, if that were to be the case, the Olympics would NOT have been held in Novelty in 03. The Olympics is a CHARITY event, not a make money for theives event. Novelty Raceways has 51 other weeks of the year to make money from all the entry fees. The Olympics is just one measly weekend a year to raise some cash for charity. And weren't even wanting all the entry fees to be donated, only HALF. Not asking too much, yet some people can't even deal with that.
Fact: Out of the $135 dollars raised by entry fees this year, it seems Rex and Jena Franke thought the mentally handicapped kids the event was HELD FOR only deserved a lousy $26 and change out of that money. Some people are tight with their money, but to be tight with racers money and keeping it from mentally handicapped children, is sickening and evil to the very core. I'm sure the kids really thank Rex and Jena Franke for being SOOOO generous.
Fact: Rex and Jena Franke profited $108 and change from entry fees alone the day of the 03 Olympics, not including all the money they made from the hobby shop and food that day. Rex and Jena Franke could only find $26 and change for the mentally challenged kids out of the racers entry fees. They couldn't find the half they had promised. Pathetic, very pathetic.
"May God have mercy on Rex and Jena Franke's souls over a lousy $41 bucks and change they feel compelled to steal, and may the kids forgive them as well." The entire MXRC crew.
----------------
With that said, the charity is tired of dealing with this. They have nicely asked us to not worry about the rest of the missing funds from Novelty Raceways. We will abide by what they have asked us to do. But, because we actually do care about the kids, and care about making things right, we will gladly be donating the $42 dollars to make things right. And it won't take us over a year to do it. 8x) Unlike other tracks in the northest missouri area, we are stand up people at MXRC, and won't hesitate to come up with the money that Rex and Jena Franke feel they must keep (steal) from the kids as profit. 8x)

10-20
FYI, the MXRC message board is a temporary deal that Goldie was nice enough to put up a couple days after we got the new club started. Tim has not "booted" anyone off that board, so ask Rich if you have been having problems on there. A more permanant web-site and message board will be on the way as the club comes along. Remember, we can't do everything in one month. LOL As mentioned at the club meeting this weekend, we are looking at a 2 year plan to fully get up to speed.
It has also come up that several people are talking BS about MXRC. Funny how all the people talking smack have not contacted us for the truth. We have the proof on our side, all you have is lies and smack. Enjoy!
We were also suckered into believing Rex and Jena for 3 years, so we know how easy it is to beleive their lies. But, because we have learned our lesson, we are just trying to keep everyone else from getting burned as well. And if you wanna blame us for trying to save people all the crap we and the original Novelty R/C club (from the 98-99 era) have been through, so be it, you deserve what you get, especially if you don't even take the time to get both sides of the story.
Latest news on the court front is that there isn't any yet. The charity has not contacted us saying otherwise, so we are under the assumption that Novelty Raceways aka Novelty RC Raceways aka Novelty R/C Raceways still has NOT paid the 67.50 they still owe.
Our lawyer was sick most of last week and he is asking us for a bit more time for research. We are cool with going another week before pressing this issue. The people owing the money aren't going anywhere.
Of course, there would be no issue if the money got paid, but some people insist on stealing money from children, perhaps it's in their nature.
Some people have said MXRC is just stirring the pot. Well, we are, but only because money has been stolen.
Don't think it was stolen? Ask for proof why Rex and Jena think they should keep all the entry fee money this year for the first time in the 3 year history of the event, without approval from the event co-ordinator, even when being advertised that a portion was to go the charity.
If the money reaches it's intended charity, all the stirring will be over. We would love for this to be over, but not until every cent reaches it's charity. It's not up to us how long this goes on, it's up to the people holding the stolen funds. Think this is going on too long? Don't complain to us, complain to the people with the stolen money in their bank account.
In any event, we will keep everyone updated on the legal matters, feel free to email or call for the very latest information. We are expecting for the charges to be filed this week, but we'll see how our lawyer and the prosecutor in Knox county come along.
-----------------
10-15-03
The $67.50 from half the entry fees of the 03 R/C Olympics still has not made it to the charity. MXRC will persue legal action later this week against the people holding this money if it does not arrive by 10-17-03. Local media (tv and print) will be contact upon date of action. We will certainly do all we possibly can to keep the charities name out of the media.

Latest Update 10-09-03
Amazing how fast money can get there after the law gets involved isn't it? Two days after the Knox County Sheriff talks to Rex Franke and Jena Franke, the money arrives at the charity. LOL... All the money from the 02' R/C Olympics (held well over a year ago) and some of the money from the 03 Event (about 3 weeks ago) FINALLY made it to the charity today. 8x) We are Xtremely happy most of the money made it. That's all we've ever wanted in this ordeal.
-----------------
Now, with respect to the charity, and them asking me very nicely to keep things civil, we will certainly do so. We hold in very high regards keeping the charity out of the bad side of how things have turned, so it will be. We will leave it at that many people are pitching in to make sure things become right, and we really appreciate the people helping us out.

"While what has went on the last year has been terrible and unexpected, I definately look foward to getting this new club underway. It will feature the best outdoor off road track in Northeastern Missouri. But mainly, I personally look foward to racing and bashing with honest, trustworthy, and fun loving people." Tim M (Resigned Track Director)
