OBITUARY --
ELLEN A. SMITH
Ellen A Smith was born June 4, 1909 in Lebanon, Illinois to the late Joseph and Susan Davis Mullen, and died at her home in Jackson, Missouri, January 20, 1994, at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 16 days.
She was united in marriage to Fred F. Smith December 1, 1931 in St. Louis, Mo., and to this union two daughters were born.
Ellen was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, and the Altar Society. They lived in Cuba 49 years and recently moved to Jackson, Mo. to be near their daughter and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Margaret Wildhabor and Mary Wantland.
Ellen is survived by her loving husband Fred, two daughters; Frances Dice and husband Fred of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Patricia Furey and husband Jim of Jackson, Mo., one brother-in-law Howard Smith and wife Jo of Bourbon, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 21, 1994 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, Mo., and a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass held Saturday, January 22, 1994 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Mo., with Father Stephen L. Faletti officiating. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Leasburg, MO.
All arrangements were under the direction of the Hutson Funeral Home of Cuba, Mo.

MRS. WILDHABER OF COFFEEN DIED
Mrs. Frank W. (Margaret N. "Marge" Mullen) Wildhaber, 64 of Coffeen died at 12:15 am Friday, April 15 in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She had been ill since last September.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am today (Monday, April 18) in St. John's Catholic church, Coffeen, with Toberman funeral home in charge. Rosary was recited Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's cemetery, Coffeen, with the Rev. Father John Sterwart officiating.
Mrs. Wildhaber was born in Missouri and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Davis Mullen. She married Frank W. Wildhaber in 1947 in Clayton, MO, and he survives.
She is further survived by a son, Frank of Hillsboro; stepson, James A. of Chicago; sisters, Mrs. Mary Wantland of Elsberry, MO; Mrs. Ellen Smith of Cuba, MO; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Wildhaber was a member of St. John's Catholic church and St. John's Altar and Rosary society.

Passed away suddenly at Cuba, Missouri on Saturday, October 27, 1962.
Dearly beloved husband of Anna Virginia Mullen, nee Enz; dear father of Kenneth, Douglas, Kathleen and Dennis Mullen; dear son of Effie Mae Mullen, nee Purvines; brother of Mary Karberg, Edith Jennings, Charles, William, Alfred, Paul, Glenn, and the late Ancel Mullen; our dear brother-in-law, nephew and cousin at the age of 53 years and 17 days.
Funeral from Epiphany of Our Lady Church, Smiley and Ivanhoe, 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
Mr. Mullen in state at the Hoener Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo., until 12 noon Monday. Then at the Albert H. Hoppe Chapel, St. Louis, Mo. until 8:30 a,m, Wednesday.
