Mac's Old Team met for lunch on Wed 11 Sept at the Village China Wok. A great buffet lunch was enjoyed by 50 teammates and one lovely guest. Jim Durbin and Arnie Kaufman joined us for the first time and Dave Parks, Dee Poore and Bob Popp returned after a too long absence.
Door prizes of course were awarded. The "fortunate" winners were Bill Doer, Frank Duda, John Hrenak, Arnie Kaufman, John Leistner (John is getting to be a regular), Joe Martinez, Joe Moore, Dave Ott, Jack Plamp,Russ Ramberger, Paul Raidt and Earl Robb. A special prize was awarded to Bob Groh by Arnie Kaufman. It was a beautiful, framed photo of the Gemini Spacecraft. Not sure what Bob did to deserve that but congrats anyway. Many thanks to Howard Moeller for bringing a bag of goodies for door prizes.
The next lunch will be Wed 8 Nov at Ryan's Family Steakhouse in Bridgeton
We will have a Christmas launch on Wed 13 Dec at Stegton Regency Banquet and Conference Center in St Charles. We will join several other MDC/BAC retiree groups. Bring your wife/spouse/friend and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and a great time of fellowship. Entertainment will be provided by the Francis Howell Senior High School Choir.
