After a long hot summer without any lunch 55 of Mac's Old Team gathered at the Chesterfield Home Style Buffet on 13 Sept. Good food and great fellowship was enjoyed by all. We even managed to entertain two tables of lady bridge players. They insisted on being included in the door prize drawing, but alas, they won nothing. Of course some would say that is their good fortune.
The "winners" this month were Glenn Cordes, Frank Duda, Bill Engel, Aaron Hogg,Howard Moeller, Vern Mueller,Tom Murray,Rus Ramberger,and Dave Shean.
Tom Rohan joined the group for the first time. Good to see you again Tom. Hope you liked it and will become a regular.
The fall golf tournament is almost upon us. The tournament will be held at Bear Creek Golf Club on Thurs 21 Sept. Still time to get a team together and get in. Call Tournament Director, Dave Szukalski, at 636-227-5581.
The next lunch will be on Wed 11 Oct at the Village China Wok in St Peters.
Something new this year. There will be a lunch gathering in December. A number of Mac retiree groups meet together each Dec. for a Christmas lunch. Old Mac's Team has been invited to join the other groups. This lunch will be held on 13 Dec at Stegton's Banquet Center in St Charles (just East of Sam's). Wives/Spouses are invited to attend. A number of our group are experiencing physical ailments. Look in on your buddies with a word of good cheer.
