The last lunch of the summer was enjoyed by 57 members of Mac's Old Team lunch group at the Chesterfield Home Town Buffet. Plenty of good food and even more good yarns. The group will not meet in July and August but feel free to round up a buddy or two for lunch. A.J. Schmuck and Richard Schlaker joined us for the first time. Clay Flynn and Norris Roessler returned after long absences. Hope you had a good time and will become regulars.
The BIG door prize winners this month were Jim Blanton, Ken Cline, Hal Flowers, Bob Goebel, Dennis Gerth, Bob Heide, Dick Hepper, Harry Merriwether, Rus Ramberger and Dan Venverloh. Congratulations to the winners. Regrets to Glenn Bowers on missing out for the first time in about six months.
Remember all our teammates who are ailing. Don't forget to check up on your old buddies from time to time and see how they are doing.
Have a great summer! Hug your grandkids! We will look forward to the next lunch in September.
