April Lunch Meeting at Maryville Marriott
April 13, 2005

"Mac's Old Team" met for lunch at the Maryville Marriott on 13 April and had a wonderful time. The lunch was hosted by Mr. Ken Rosenbaum, Retirement Plan Consultant, with The MacFarland Financial Group of UBS. After enjoying the lunch Ken gave a presentation on the financial planning aspects associated with retirement living. A lively Q&A session followed the presentation. Many thanks to Ken for the fine lunch and the timely topic of discussion. Also a big thank you to Glen Bowers for arranging the contact with the MacFarland Group.

Fifty eight teammates enjoyed the lunch and the usual socializing with "old" friends. Bruno Rutkauskas joined us for the first time. Hope you enjoyed the lunch Bruno and will become a regular. Hal Flowers rejoined us after some time away with heart problems. Hal is the new bionic man with a pacemaker and looks great. Good to have you back Hal.

Thanks to the generosity of the host, Ken Rosenbaum, there was a plethora of door prizes. Caps, pens and cups galore. Of course to make it an official meeting there had to be a few golf balls handed out.

We have a number of teammates who are in various stages of dealing with health problems. Rick McGee, Gerry DeWitt, Harry Steele, Ed Stanwich, Joe Trammel and Hoyt Ussery are the ones we know about.
