Mac's Old Team's March lunch was held on 8 March at the Doubletree Hotel in Chesterfield. 58 teammates enjoyed a delicious buffet hosted by Mr. Ken Patterson of Ridgeway-Conger Inc. Ken presented information on U.S. Savings Bonds that was very informative and timely. Ken also presented a $50 bond as a door prize and that was won by Glen Bowers.
There was also the usual assortment of door prizes including cups, caps, pens, paperweights, etc and of course the obligatory golf balls. The big winners were Dick Ampleman,Glen Cordes, Frank Duda, Joe Fenier, Gil Gaumer,Aaron Hogg,Phil Kempland, Howard Moeller, John Mohr, Tom Schweickert and Bob Skala.
Leo Kilcullin made his first appearance. Hope you enjoyed it Leo and will become a regular.
The next lunch will be on Wed 12 April at the Ryan's Steak House in Bridgeton. Exit IS270 at St Charles Rock Road and go west on the Rock Road to the first intersection. Go left and Ryan's is behind the Bob Evan's Restaurant.
Don't forget the Mac's Old Team Golf Tournament on Thursday May 18 at the Bear Creek Golf Club in Wentzville, MO.
Note this is a change in location from previous tournaments. This is a four man, best ball scramble Shotgun tee off at 8:00AM. $45 per player covers coffee and donuts before tee-off, green fee, cart, lunch and prize money.
