Basic Story of Macross

The year is 2040 and on the colony planet of Eden three child-hood friends are unexpectedly reunited on the planet where they grew up together. Isamu Dyson a reckless pilot forced to take the job as test pilot for the YF-19. Guld Goa Bowmann, the test pilot for the YF-21, flying against Isamu in a trial to decide which model will go into production. And Myung Fan Lone, the producer of the galaxy's top idol singer, the computer generated Sharon Apple, who has just arrived on planet Eden for her latest concert. As the 30th anniversary of the end of the Zentradi war and the formation of the United Space Force approaches, strange events are drawing these three characters back together. And their reunion is bringing to surface the unspoken secrets of why they went their seperate ways and why Isamu and Guld, once the closest of friends, are now the bitterest of rivals. THE MACROSS GENERATIONS

-STORY- ULTRA SPACE-TIME FORTRESS, MACROSS

In 2009A.D., human beings are facing the greatest crisis they have ever experienced before. The era of confrontation almost as long as the history of mankind has at last come to an end and the first United Government for all human beings has recently been established, when armed extraterrestrials come close to Earth. The forces of the Zentraedi start their attacks on Earth with overwhelming military strength. The invincible space battleship, Macross, which is to be launched on the day, is obliged to participate in an actual battle immediately after the launching ceremony. However, since Macross is still on the testing stage, it is defeated because of the failure in forlding (instantaneous transferring). With as many as 56,000 citizens on board, Macross is wandering out of the Solar System into its circumference. The Zentraedi are coming after Macross with their formidable forces. Without knowing the fate of Earth, Macross sets out on its long, trouble-plagued journey back to Earth.

Do you remember the love?- At last, mankind is encountered with extraterrestrials! Two forces are fighting with each other in the vast space. One is the Zentraedi consisting of solely male soldiers. The other, the Meltrandy, is a female force. In 2001A.D., Earth becomes involved in this battle. While Macross, the space fortress, is fighting back against a sudden attack, it mistakenly goes out of the Solar System to its circumferential area without any means to return. In the middle of fear and despair, the curtain is raised for a story of cruel battles. For the survival of mankind, Macross launches its last attack with Lynn Minmay's singing as an only weapon .

-STORY- MACROSS PLUS

In 2040A.D.. 30 years have passed since the attack of Main Fleet Bodol on Earth. While having reconciled with a part of the Zentraedi, mankind start promoting the proliferation of themselves by colonizing various regions in the Galaxy in preparing for another assault of the fleet. Planet Eden, more than ten light-year apart from the earth, has been developed for a long time as a colonized planet for human beings. Inspired with the frontier spirit, a number of people have come to live on the planet, the natural environment of which is very similar to that of Earth. The story starts when a test pilot is assigned to the test flight center on New Edwards base. His name is Isamu Dayson. Born on Earth and blessed with unsurpassed flying technique, he has been ordered to join the testing corps of YF-19, an experimentally produced convertible fighter, since he is not good at cooperating with others. On the base, there is a pilot of YF-21, which competes with YF-19 for official adoption by the forces. His name is Guld Goa Boman, who used to be the best friend and rival of Isamu. The two men fight with each other in the sky on their own fighters. One day, Sharon Apple, an extremely popular virtual singer, holds a concert produced by Myung Fan Lone, a friend of Isamu and Guld in their childhood. When the three people are unexpectedly reunited, the electronic heart of Sharon, who should not have any feeling, is stricken by a strange emotion.

In 2045A.D., 35 years have passed since the space war came to an end thanks to Lynn Minmay's singing. The new Macross-class 7th battleship (Macross 7), which left Earth 7 years ago, continues to wander around the space in search of a planet to be colonized. On the fleet, some 1 million people live peacefully. However, one day, advanced-guard ships of the battleship, Macross 7, are raided. On the other hand, at the outdoor stage set up in a park in Macross City, a live concert of a rock'n'roll band, Fire Bomber, is being held. At the height of the concert, an enemy force come attacking onto Macross 7. Who is the enemy ? What is their purpose? Giant battleship, Macross 7, with 1 million people on board is going to be involved into fierce battles.

-STORY- Macross Dynamite 7

One year after the confrontation with Protodeviln. Having left 'Fire Bomber' and having roamed around the Galaxy, Basara reaches a peripheral planet, Zora. Planet Zora is a unique planet in the Galaxy, where galaxy whales are swimming about. Galaxy whales can be used as a power source to make a space ship fly at super high speed. Basara is involved in the fight between poachers of galaxy whales which can be sold at high prices on the black market and patrols against poachers (Liza). Wounded in the fight, Basara is saved by a girl named Elma. He comes under the care of Elma and his father, Graham, a whale fisherman ( he has become a giant with the miclone technology ). You will enjoy new pieces of music of Basara Nekki and fascinating Valkyries. You will also meet a little grown-up Mylene in the story.
