About The Artists And The Album

Psalm 40:2
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

Jeff Conte

Jeff Conte is a husband, father and grandfather. He plays guitar, bass and keys, and loves to sing. Jeff has been writing Christian songs for many years and has been involved in various music ministries as well. At present, he enjoys writing and recording at home. His desire is to share the love of Jesus with as many people as possible. You can hear his music on YouTube where he has many followers.

Dale King

Dale King is a husband, a dad, and a pawpaw, who currently lives in Oklahoma. His lifelong love of music is being passed along to his students in his studio – Guitar Tuna -- where he continues to teach guitar and bass as he has done for the past 20 years. His favorite quote from a former student - “You know, you teach more than guitar here.” - captures Dale’s desire to share his faith as well. You can find him during the week at the YMCA where he is the Property Manager, and on the weekend, on one of his long bike rides across Oklahoma. From the time Dale met this inspiring musician and songwriter on a college campus in western Oklahoma, he has been proud to call Jeff Leslie his friend.
Jeff Leslie

Jeff, originally from Oklahoma and now in Missouri, became a quadriplegic at the age of 25 when he dove into an incorrectly marked lake. Prior to that, he was a band and choir director and could play several instruments. He was grateful when the technology was developed that allows him to pursue his passion for music using a computer. He is the producer and arranger for all of the tracks on the album.

He is always looking for the next idea that he can transform into a lyric. Once the lyric is written, if he cannot come up with a melody, he will email the lyric to either Dale - who was his college roommate and remains to be a close friend - or Jeff Conte, a talented songwriter he met on the Internet. They send him the vocal and usually a guitar or piano accompaniment, then Jeff goes to work arranging the song adding bass, strings, drums, and other instrumentation using his computer and music software.

When he became paralyzed, he thought his life was over. Not only does he continue with his music, he is a proud father. And he and his wife, Tami, just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. He always credits her, and especially his faith in God for helping him keep a positive frame of mind in spite of his hardships.

Romans 8:17
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ,
if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Romans 16:27
To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
