Falling Flowers

Title of Your Page

Jacqueline’s Junque

I've seen too many flowers fall,
like the tears I cry.
I want a flower to reverse....
and fall up to the sky.

Petals may wilt, stems lose strength,
but gravity restricts;
Like symmetry viewed through the eye,
the fragile life conflicts.

The flower that falls up is rare,
natural laws subside;
To promote the dying, flying up,
towards the rising guide.

But nature is too strict with death,
deceased are buried down;
The incandescent flower leaves me,
grinning with a frown.

Smiles lost like colors faded,
spark the flower's descent.
The spinning world denies a soul
precious time to lament.

I've seen too many flowers fall
And with them, tears I cry.
My eyes closed, I love the flower...
that falls up to the sky.
