A Hero Returns

Once thought dead, Robert Scorpio is returning to Port Charles...will he get a hero's welcome?

Mac Scorpio needed help. He was in the middle of a crisis. His daughter Georgie had been badly hurt in an accident. He was still trying to maintain a tight ship at the PCPD. And to top it all off...he just found out he had a daughter. Dorian Vega was the daughter of a blast from Mac's past. A part of the past he wanted to forget. Before he became an upholder of the law, Mac didn't think twice about breaking it. In Mexico, he doublecrossed Marisol Vargos in his quest to save Maria Vega's life. Together they created a daughter that he wouldn't know for over twenty years. But now that he knows, Mac needs to protect her...and to do that...he will call upon his old friend, Anna Devane.

While Mac waited for Anna to arrive, he returned to the hospital with Dorian. There she got devastating news - her mother had died. Mac immediately comforted her, knowing that something was off. Then he got a welcomed surprise - Felicia had returned. The two embraced and before Felicia went in to see Georgie she took Mac aside to shock him even more. She wanted to have a baby and she wanted Mac to be the father! He was taken aback and told her that he would give it some serious thought and that they were have a discussion about it. Felicia then went to visit Georgie where got a less than warm welcome. Mac met Anna and the two went to the ReVamped fashion show.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, V Ardanowski was discovering something very important. Now a full fledged WSB agent, she was on the Vargos case after the FBI agent left when her son was taken and presumed dead. The agent's name was Reese Marshall! And V had just discovered that Jamie was alive and part of child slave ring. She quickly ran to her partner - Robert Scorpio! Together they made plans to pose as husband and wife to buy Jamie. The plan went off smoothly, with V explaining to Jamie that she was about to take him home to his mother. At the Port Charles airport, Jamie was reunited with his tearful mother.

After doing their good deed for the day, Robert and V tracked down the Vargos family at the ReVamped Fashion show. Although not meaning two, V had a klutzy moment and sent her and Robert tumbling out onto the runway. Mac and Anna were shocked...was that really Robert? He quickly approached his family and stated the obvious. He was alive. Anna wanted to leave immediately. She wanted nothing to do with Robert, despite his pleas. She was angry and hurt. She needed time to think and Robert was just going to have to respect that decision.

Felicia was taking a break from sitting by her daughter's bedside when she ran into her ex-husband. She was beyond surprised to see him there and it wasn't long before the two were sparing. She wanted to know why he hadn't bothered to come and see their daughters as they grew to become teenagers. When she didn't like his excuse, the fight escalated. She warned him that he better not hurt her daughters again or there would be hell to pay. The two walked away from each other after nearly shouting down the building around them!

Meanwhile, in a hideway, a man lit up a cigar and decided to take the first step in a well calculated plan. He was none than Cesar Faison...alive and well and ready to get rid of the Scorpios once and for all. Now that he knew Robert was alive, he was determined to correct the wrong. But Robert wasn't his only target. A quick phone call revealed other targets as he left flowers for Anna, Felicia and V to discover. He then received a rude awakening from Helena...she wanted his help to destroy Luke and threatened to tell the world that he was alive if he didn't comply. Faison refused to be moved by these threats. Instead he carefully told Helena that he was working alone and that he no longer needed her services!

Across the country, a young man named Colin sat in his room with a sullen look on his face. As he stared out the window, his guardian Hannah appeared in the room clutching a newspaper from a city called Port Charles. He saw the headlines - "A Hero Returns" and took in the picture of Robert Scorpio. His face immediately turned to stone and he packed up his things to make a speedy exit. As Hannah watched him go, she felt sadness overwhelm him. She had been instructed by Cesar Faison to show Colin the paper. Since Colin's birth, Hannah had raised him to Cesar's exact instruction. He was about to become the pawn he had been raised to be.

As soon as she left the Revamped show, Anna headed to the PC Hotel to see her daughter Robin. She wanted to be the one to tell Robin about Robert. She tried to break the news to her daughter in the easiest way as possible but in the end, Robin was shocked to hear that her father was alive. Anna expressed her anger that Robert had let the two of them suffer. Robin agreed but also admitted she wanted to see him despite Anna wanting the opposite. Robin wanted her mother to spend the night in her room to get the rest that Robin knew she needed. Anna relaxed long enough for Robin to fall asleep. Then Anna went back to her own room where she found a red orchid waiting for her...

After getting the cold shoulder from both Anna and Mac, Robert decided to take V to see the one person he knew would welcome him back - Luke Spencer. Although Luke was surprised to see his old friend standing in the doorway he grabbed Robert in a bear hug. The two immediately began catching up and Luke had no choice but to admit that he had married Helena. But he told Robert he was doing it to protect his family. He hoped to get what he wanted and then legally marry his true love - Laura. On cue, Laura showed up and was reunited with Robert as well.

Mac returned to the hospital to see Felicia. He was still stunned by the sight of Robert. Before he could tell Felicia what happened, Felicia nearly had a nervous breakdown. She explained how she had saw Frisco and how the two of them had argued. She then revealed that Georgie had welcomed her father back but practically given her the cold shoulder! She was so upset and wanted to do something...anything to calm her nerves. She eyed Mac and suggested that the two of them have sex to help break the tension. Mac refused at first but he too needed to feel good. The two of them locked themselves in a hospital bathroom and got busy!

Robin was in for one more shock to her system. A knock came to her door and she went to answer it only to be shook to the core. Standing there was a man who looked exactly like Stone Cates, sounded like Stone Cates...and even said he was Stone Cates. She didn't understand how this was possible. She had watched Stone die. Visibly shaken, Stone had to help Robin to a seat. He tried to explain what had happened, how he had been taken captive but Robin was took upset to fully understand.
