Tell Me I’m Dreaming…
"My feet hurt." Nicole complained while she and Julie were shopping.
"Shut the fuck up stop your damn complaining, you shouldn’t have worn those damn shoes." Julie replied as she looked through the shirts.
"Bitch." Nicole muttered as she walked out of the store towards a bench to sit down. She sat down and started to watch the people walking by. She looked to one end of the mall and then to the other end, she did that back and forth a couple of times. She sighed then looked back in the store to see what Julie was doing. After seeing her walking into the dressing room Nicole went back to looking at people. Who knew maybe she’d see a famous person. She looked to her right then slowly moved her head to the left. She started to look back to the right when she saw…couldn’t be. She squinted to see if she could see better and sure enough there were Nick and AJ walking towards her. Nicole jumped up and ran back into the store straight to the dressing room Julie was in.
"Julie." Nicole said as she started banging on the door.
"Jesus what?" Julie asked as she came out of the room.
"I saw AJ." She said out of breath.
"What?" Julie asked confused.
Nicole grabbed Julie’s arm and drug her out the door and pointed to where they were. A few girls had stopped them to get an autograph.
"Yep that’s them now I’m going to go buy those jeans."
"What? We have to go down there. You need to talk to fat ass so I can talk to AJ."
"Can’t you talk to AJ by yourself?"
Nicole looked at Julie like she was crazy and said, "Do you know who you’re talking to? I’m about to pass out right now and I’m not even close to him."
Julie started laughing. She grabbed Nicole’s hand and they started walking towards them.
"Tell me I’m dreaming, tell me that I’m not about to talk to AJ fucking McLean."
Julie just laughed.
"Ok, don’t tell me that. I think I’m going to have a heart attack. How did you do this?"
Julie shrugged.
"Wait." Nicole stopped walking.
"What?" Julie stopped and looked at Nicole weird.
"Never mind."
"You’re nuts."
"Fuck you."
Julie continued to laugh as they approached them. They waited for the girls to leave then got closer.
"Julie are you stalking me now?" Nick asked Julie with a smirk.
Julie gave him a dirty look and said, "Nicole saw AJ."
Nick looked at Nicole and how she was looking at AJ then busted into laughter. "AJ this is Julie and her friend Nicole." Nick said after containing his laughter.
"Hello ladies." He said grinning at them.
Nicole giggled.
"So what are you guys doing today?" Nick asked looking at Julie.
"Shopping. Larry paid the bill to my credit card so I decided to spend some more money. Then we were going to look at apartments and cars."
"Who’s Larry?" Nick asked curiously.
Julie grinned and said, "My father."
"You call him by his name?"
"Long story."
"So you’re going to get a car?"
"Yes."
"What kind?" AJ joined in.
"Probably a 2003 Ford Mustang, I did have a 2000. I fucking love those cars."
"Nice." Nick said.
"Yo, Nick should I be scared. Her friend won’t stop staring." AJ whispered to Nick while he looked at Nicole who was staring at him.
"Nicole." Julie said as she hit her in the arm.
"Yeah?" Nicole asked looking at Julie with a goofy grin.
"Are you going to be ok?"
"I’m not sure." Nicole whispered while Julie laughed.
"Well we have to go. Good luck with the car and apartment shopping." Nick said looking at Julie.
"Ok.
"You want to go clubbing with us tonight?"
"Are you fucking me?" Julie asked then started laughing.
"No comment." Nick replied laughing.
"I don’t know."
"Yeah we’ll go." Nicole said excitedly.
"She speaks." Nick said laughing.
"Ok, well then meet us in the lobby of the hotel at about seven."
"Alright." Julie said smiling.
"Ok."
"Nice meeting you AJ." Julie said looking at AJ while Nicole shook her head in agreement.
"Ditto."
"Bye." Nick said as they walked off.
"Ok tell me that just happened."
"What?"
"Nick asked us to go clubbing with them tonight."
"Uh huh and I made a complete and utter fool of myself."
Julie laughed and said, "Yeah but can we focus on me for a second?"
"Sorry." Nick said laughing. "Silly me."
"Are we living in some alternate universe or something?"
Nicole shrugged and said, "Maybe he likes you or likes hanging out with you. You are a pretty fun person sometimes."
"Only sometimes?" Julie asked acting hurt.
Nicole rolled her eyes as they started to walk.
~Julie’s point of view~
Seriously I feel like I’m in a dream world. This is crazy, Nick asks us to go clubbing with him and AJ. Now when does this happen in the real world? Tell me I’m dreaming… no wait don’t tell me that. Because if I was dreaming then eventually I’d have to wake up and that’d just suck ass. So I’m just going to go with the flow.
So we went shopping today. And I think we found an apartment. I got five new outfits and a real hot pair of shoes. Then Larry wired me money for a down payment on a car. So now I have a car, 2003 Ford Mustang Convertible, its yellow. It’s hot. I wanted to get a stick but I can’t drive a stick. I like the sound though. *laughs* It does shift hard so it’s kind of like a stick. I need to think of a name for him or her.
Off to get all pretty for tonight and laugh at Nicole some more. She’s been freaking out all day. She doesn’t know what to wear or how to do her hair. It’s quite entertaining.
"Do I look ok?" Nicole asked Julie excitedly.
"Yeah you look fine."
"You sure?"
"Yes, Nicole I’m sure." Julie said sighing.
"Ok no need to get salty damn."
Julie rolled her eyes as she fixed her hair.
"It’s almost seven. Hurry up."
"Nicole! You need to calm the fuck down or I’m going to have to kill you." Julie snapped at Nicole while she looked at her in shock.
"Well, that was a little uncalled for."
"Ok." Julie retorted sarcastically.
~Nicole’s point of view~
Damn. Julie is a little bitchy this evening. Wonder why? I haven’t done anything. I’m just a tad bit excited about tonight and that’s it. I mean I’m pretty damn calm considering I’m about to go clubbing with AJ fucking McLean. Ok so maybe I keep fidgeting and I can’t really sit still but besides that I’m pretty damn calm. Yeah so Julie can lick my clit. *stomps off*
"Are you ready to go now?" Nicole asked Julie with her hand on her hip while she tapped her foot.
"Yes." Julie replied.
"About fucking time."
Julie turned around glaring at Nicole. "Fuck you." She snapped then walked out the door.
They rode the elevator in silence. When they got off they walked in to the lobby to see Nick and AJ talking to a couple of fans. Nick smiled at Julie as they stood there waiting.
"Stop fidgeting." Julie said through clenched teeth as she glared at Nicole.
"God, what is your deal? You’re awful bitchy."
"I am not."
"You are too."
"You are annoying the fuck out of me."
"Thanks I love you too." Nicole replied sarcastically.
"You guys ready?" Nick asked as he approached them.
"Yes, and I’m going to drive."
Nick looked at her like she was crazy.
"What? I’m serious. I’m driving." She said looping her arm in his guiding him out of the hotel while AJ and Nicole followed.
"I’m not sure if I trust you." Nick said walking to her car.
Julie looked at Nick acting hurt. "What? I’m a good driver. I’ve only been in four accidents. Two of them were not my fault." She said smiling at him innocently.
"Great that’s comforting." AJ said out loud to no one in particular but made Nicole giggle.
"That’s not what I’m talking about. You might kidnap us."
"Oh please don’t flatter yourself Carter." Julie said.
"Ok this is nice." AJ said as they approached Julie’s car.
"I know." Julie replied grinning.
"Shot gun." Nick said putting his hand in the air.
"What?" Nicole asked putting her hands on her hips.
"I have the longest legs so I need more room. I don’t want to be kissing my knees in the back."
"I can’t believe you dude, leave me in the back with the crazy one." AJ said while Nicole got in the car.
Nick started laughing in reply.
Julie got in and started the car. "Nicole hand me the CD case back there."
"Play some good shit."
Julie looked at Nick and said, "My car my music."
"Great." Nick mumbled.
"You don’t even know what I like so shut it." Julie said as she put in a CD.
The punk music began. "Ok maybe this won’t be to bad." Nick said moving his head to the beat.
Julie skipped to almost the last song. "This is perfect for you Nick." She said smiling at him then backed the car out of the parking lot.
"What?"
"Just listen." She said as the music began.
"Well he’s a chick magnet if you know what I mean. The way the girlies just go to him well you should have seen." Julie sang loud with the song. "The guy yeah, he’s got style."
"Yeah right." Nicole said from the back seat causing AJ to laugh.
"And it’s plain to see. Smooth shoes and cool tattoos hair pomped as tight as can be. He ain’t got a girlfriend, no one to sing this song to." Julie sang using her hand as a microphone while they sat at a red light.
"She’s not right." AJ whispered to Nicole making her laugh.
"He’s gotta settle down if he meets that special girl soon." She sang looking at Nick weird while he just laughed at her. "He knows just what to do when it come to the girls. He writes them poetry and picks them flowers. He knows just what to say when it comes to the ladies. Knows how to make a girl smile, how to drive a girl crazy."
"Does she do this a lot?" AJ asked.
Nicole just nodded and said, "That’s Julie for ya."
"I love that song. It totally describes you Nick." Julie said cutting eyes over to him.
"You’re crazy."
"Hey eat a dick."
"That wasn’t very nice."
"Where the hell am I going?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing." Nicole said from the back seat.
"Mind telling me where to go." Julie asked Nick.
Nick sat there listening to the next song that came on while staring out the window.
"Hey shit head. I’m talking to you." Julie said hitting Nick’s chest.
"What?"
"Are you deaf or just can’t hear good?"
"What do you want?"
"Are you going to tell me where to go or what?"
"I’ll tell you when to turn damn. You don’t have to be so abusive." Nick said pouting while Julie rolled her eyes.
They were quiet for a while just listening to the CD when someone’s cell phone started ringing. They all looked at their cell phones to see if it was theirs.
"It’s mine." AJ said holding his phone in the air.
Nicole cut over eyes over to him.
"Hello?" He said into the phone.
Nicole couldn’t hear the other person.
"Hi, baby. Yeah I’m going out with Nick. I told you that remember?" He said in that lovey dovey tone that makes everyone sick.
Nicole rolled her eyes then started to hit her head on the window.
"Ok baby. I love you too. Muah!" He said then hung up his phone smiling.
"Your woman?" Nick asked looking back at AJ.
"Yeah."
"Keeping tabs on you or what?"
"No."
"Ok." Nick said sarcastically.
"Ok Nick you fucking suck at giving directions. God, we got lost three times." Julie said as she got out of the car.
"You got lost. You didn’t follow my directions precisely."
Julie rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever."
"Whatever." He said mocking her.
She glared at him while he just grinned at her in return.
They walked into the VIP section and immediately Julie started ordering a few shots for herself.
"She doesn’t waste anytime does she?" Nick asked Nicole.
"Nope, guess not. But I warn you now when she drinks she either gets really fucking horny or really fucking bitchy. Since you’re here I’m guessing it’s going to be horny."
"Should I be scared?" Nick asked looked at her.
"Not yet, just be prepared for anything."
"Like what?"
Nicole just shrugged, then got up and headed towards the bar.
"So where did you meet these chicks?" AJ asked.
"The airport." Nick replied looking at Julie.
"You like her or something?"
Nick shrugged.
"Uh huh."
"What?"
"Nothing." AJ said simply.
"Whatever." Nick said as he got up and head to the bar.
"Want to dance?" Nick asked Julie in her ear as he put his hand on her hip.
"Hold on." She said putting her finger up. She took two more shots of tequila. "Ok." She said grabbing his hand and leading him to the dance floor.
"How many have you had?" Nick asked as he put both hands on her hips as they began to dance.
"How many what?"
"Shots?"
"Oh like five." She said simply.
"Damn girl."
"What? I can hold my alcohol."
"Ok." Nick said pulling her a little closer as they danced.
"You’re so cute I just want to pinch your cheek." Julie slurred looking at Nick a few hours later.
They all laughed at Julie when she reached up and pinched Nick’s cheek hard.
"She’s gone." AJ said watching Julie stare into space.
"Hey I see two Nicole’s and I see two of yous." Julie said holding three fingers up then pointed at Nicole and AJ.
"She may be gone but she’s entertaining drunk." Nicole said laughing.
Julie leaned over Nick to get her purse in the process Nick kind of jumped because he thought she was going to grab him.
"Whoa, I thought she was going to grab me." Nick said looking at AJ.
"What you mean like this?" Julie asked as she grabbed Nick’s crotch.
AJ almost fell out of his seat laughing from the look on Nick’s face.
"That’s more than a handful." Julie said as she leaned back in the chair, while Nick sat there wide eyed.
"Oh god I have to go to the bathroom, shit that was priceless." Nicole said as she got up.
"I think it’s time to go, it’s almost three." Nick said standing up still a little shocked.
"Hey, where are my car keys?" Julie asked as she stood up wobbling a lot.
"I took them earlier; AJ is going to drive home. He hasn’t drunk anything." Nick said looking at Julie.
"You’re beautiful." Julie said looking in Nick’s eyes.
Nick laughed.
"Where are my keys? If I don’t have my keys we’re never going to go home." Julie said wobbling some more than she grabbed Nick’s arm for support.
"AJ is driving home." Nick said laughing at the look on Julie’s face.
"I’m toberally sober dude, I can drive." Julie slurred putting her hand on her hip.
"Sure you are." Nick said laughing.
"Ready?" AJ asked Nicole when she came back.
"Yep." She replied as they head out of the club.
"That was some work." Nick said as he flopped down in the back seat next to Julie.
"What?" Nicole asked looking at him.
"Getting her to the car she can’t exactly walk all that well."
"Ok let’s go." AJ said as he started the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
"AJ you’re going to fucking fast." Julie said from the back seat breaking the silence.
"What?" AJ asked.
"You’re going to fast slow down."
"Fine."
"I have to piss." Julie announced causing them all to laugh.
"We’re almost to the hotel."
"No I really have to piss. I can piss in here. It’s my car. If I want to piss in here I can."
"No I’m back here too." Nick said looking at her.
"AJ you’re going to fucking slow."
"What?"
"AJ you’re going to slow speed things along. I have to piss and pretty boy back here doesn’t want me to piss in the back. But it is my car and if I pissed back here it wouldn’t be bad because it is my car."
"You think she can say it’s her car one more time?" Nicole asked laughing.
They got to the hotel and went in the back entrance.
"We’ll just put her in my room because you’re room is to far. She’s breaking my arm." Nick said as they got on the elevator.
Nicole nodded.
"Nick you just want an excuse for her to be in your room."
"Fuck you man. Their room is two floors up from mine."
"Ok sure." AJ replied grinning at Nick.
