"Jana. Get in here." Nick said as he sat up on their bed early that morning.

"What? Gee… I’m sorry if you hadn’t noticed these two small children sucking on my nipples but this better be important." Jana said as she walked into their room with a baby in each arm.

Nick smiled at her as she handed him Austin and she continued to rock Brenna as she sat down beside him.

"Now what did you want?"

"Watch." Nick said pointing to the TV.

Jana rolled her eyes as she leaned against the headboard.

"This Rebecca Smith for Channel 8 news and we have breaking news, Shawn Williams the man suspected for the kidnapping of pop star Nick Carter’s son last year, was found in a motel off of hwy 55 late last night, dead. Investigators suspect it was a drug overdose but they aren’t quite clear. We will announce any other information when we receive it."

Nick turned the TV off and looked at Jana. Jana looked back at him and smiled slightly.

"So." He said as he looked down at Austin sleeping.

"So?" She replied.

"He’s gone."

"Yeah." Jana said laughing slightly.

"He went back to sleep I’m going to put him back in bed." Nick said as he got up from the bed slowly.

"Here take her too." Jana said standing up and walked over to Nick giving him Brenna, she kissed his cheek and watched him walk out of the room before she went back over to the bed.

Nick walked back into their room closing the door and then got back on the bed wrapping his arms around Jana.

"This is nice." Jana said as she started to move her fingers lightly across his arm.

"Yeah." Nick breathed as he leaned in to kiss her gently.

They separated and looked at each other. "I love you." Nick whispered as he leaned back in to kiss her again.
