"Where You See Birds Fly"
This poem will start out in a confusing way.
You'll probably figure it out someday.
The place where birds fly...
It's no different from a tiger's eye.
You've probably seen it.
It's better than people think.
They don't realize the beauty in the link.
The link that connects two worlds as one.
Although, the two worlds had been as one in the long run.
Catching up to the happiness it brings.
Sadness comes and the feeling flings.
When we wake up,
When we snap out,
We'll see that we're on the happiness route.
I think there are good reasons to cry,
But the world today is really the place where you see birds fly.

Ya know. Today had to be the day I thought about children.
I was thinking that one reason, and a good one for that matter, to have kids is because we get to relive our childhoods.
Well I am now far out of mine, but I know well enough that I want to tell my kids what I learned growing up.
Tell them what their grandmother told me.
The lessons that come from the world around them will definitely be different, but hopefully the lessons that come from generations passed will live on.
And I hope that one day my kids do the same with theirs and so on.
Love builds upon the heart.
The heart builds upon the mind.
And the soul. It never finishes responding to all.
It's a passing system, just like that of lessons.
The mind learns the lesson, and the heart responds with love and wariness.
Then all is stored on the soul.
Parents are the minds.
We, as children, are the hearts...the responders.
And the tradition of each generation is the soul.
Nourish, remember, and cleanse all three.
For there is no person that uses only one to survive.
--this isn't really a poem, but my English teacher said I could make it one. :)
