How to Stop Religious Persecution
As I have said in the forums in the past when the topic has come up, there are many alternatives to violent war to achieve an end to religious persecution. Take China for example. A war with them would be one of the bloodiest in history, assuming we don't "nuke" them. So a war with them wouldn't be in our best interests. So, we would simply refuse to trade with them. Many people aren't aware of this, but without the Unites States, many countries, like Russia and China, would be underwater economically, even more so than they currently are. Well, you say, "other countries would still trade with them." Not necessarily. We are the most powerful country in world. To put it simply, we have lost of stroke. So if the United Nations doesn't agree with us refusing to trade with these countries, we just tell our numerous allies to stop trading with countries using methods of religious persecution. Don't forget that our numerous allies are very dependent on us as well, and many are indebted to us for what we've done for them in the past. I truly believe that our allies would hang on to every word that came out of America's mouth.
This is just one of the many methods that are available to stop the persecution of people of various religions, and be sure if you don't know anything abut the persecution going on in these countries to read my previous speech. If anyone has anything new to add or an entirely new idea, please suggest it on the forums. In the meantime, look back, look around, stomp persecution into the ground.
