Dieting, Just 7 Simple Letters

It's the difference between feeling good about yourself; and feeling afraid to make a change. Making the necessary changes in your life, in order to feel better; live longer, & healthier lives. Let's get started..............

Wake up each morning, and put a smile on your face. It won't hurt you, and it may just get you off to a happy start of a new day. :-)

Look at yourself in the mirror, and find some positive things about yourself. Something like: "My eyes are such a pretty shade of green. I really like them.", or "My hair is just right for me. It looks great!". Whatever the positive action is, say it to yourself as a reminder that you are someone special, and that you are already on the way to a happy; healthy life. This positive reinforcement is just the kind of thing you need to keep up with; to help you with self esteem issues, and to help keep you on track with your planned dieting goals.

Don't like to exercise? Who does, not many of us. If we did, we wouldn't be as overweight or out of shape; as we are. Try to start small, by taking a 20-30 minute walk a day. It's pretty easy to get in 20-30 minutes of walking, without feeling like it's "just too much" to tackle. Walk your kids to school each morning, or; walk to the nearest convenience store and pick up a newspaper(without snacks to go). It can be that easy, and you'll find that before you know it; you've burned up extra calories, and that equals lost weight.

One way you can trick yourself into exercise, is to do it by doing something you like. For instance, gardening. Get out there in the fresh air and do a few things in the yard. It's a great way to burn calories; and as a bonus; to get a tan.(Be sure to wear sunscreen.) Try to think of something you enjoy, and then; get out and put that "fun" into action. You'll be glad that you did. Sometimes, just getting outside in the fresh air; can help unclog the braincells, and set you on a new path.

Don't supersize those fast food orders. They may be cheaper to buy, but; they're not necessarily better for you. If you just can't pull back from supersizing, then; try this: Cut everything that you order in half, thereby creating a second tasty meal for the next day. Kinda like getting 2 meals, for the price of one! Who could beat that deal. You'll get the fun food that you are used to, and still cut the calories; by eating half of what you normally would. Plus, a second meal. Yippeee!

Whatever changes that you make to get you started on the path to healthier living, is worth the effort. You'll feel better from the inside out. Who can beat that? :-) Good luck to you.
