I painted "Wenwood Farm" en plein air, on a beautiful Indian summer day in October. This is behind the Wenwood Farm Winery in Mt. Sterling. The owners were gracious and let me sit and paint anywhere I wanted to paint that day. I was drawn to this scene because of the way the road curves lazily around the corner behind the barn. When I showed the owner what I had produced, she said she loved it. She said it reminded her more of her childhood than if she actually just stood in that spot. She bought the painting and I bought wine. What a great day! Original SOLD.
