Hockey Info...Just when you think you?ve seen the last of TJ Meyer?s tattered, gray sweatpants, they?re back again for another season (if they can last that long). TJ Meyer is entering his fourth season in the league and is the only player who can be called a true defenseman. He remains patient in a league full of players eager to push up. He is a feisty player who rarely joins the offense unless it?s a dire situation. He was brought to Brad?s team last season to anchor a defense in need of a rattling. Grant Hulett was playing uninspired hockey and Tim Kay was flat-out bad. TJ came in to battle on his side of the red line and was instrumental in helping his team to the championship. TJ is one of the premier skaters and puck handlers in the league and he isn?t afraid to let it show. Additionally, he is another power player who isn?t afraid to play the rough style of hockey preached by Brad. Playing on the same team as his brother has improved his game greatly although it is humorous to note the drastic differences between the two brothers. This season, with Grant and Tim both out of the picture, TJ will be the leader of the defensive corps for Brad?s team. They say that defense wins championships and for this team to make it back-to-back, they?ll need TJ Meyer to provide the defensive spark we saw last season.
