Hockey Info...Mark Budde will once again take the face-offs for Luke?s team. The big power forward is expecting a huge season. He has been working out in the offseason, playing baseball and basketball, and is in great shape for the upcoming hockey season. The Crime Dawg is one of the most tenacious players in the league. He plays like Grant Hulett did at his best. He?s one of the best at pounding in the rebounds and generally causing havoc in front of the net. He?s got a big mouth, but also packs the big guns to back it up. Mark is usually one of the first to drop the gloves, no matter who?s on the other side. His size allows him to clear space on the blacktop for the speedsters to skate through. When Mark and Derek make their way to the front of the net, the goalie is blind and it takes two or three players to get them out. Mark Budde has been a key ingredient to Luke?s championship teams in years past. He may not light up the scoreboard as often as others, but he?s always in the play, grinding for the puck or protecting his teammates. If opponents feel that they don?t have to pay attention to him, Mark will make them think otherwise. This season, Mark craves another championship and will be looked upon to win the face-offs and be the physical force behind his teams regular season and playoff run.
