These pictures of the bigfoot taken in 1967 by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin have long been the subject of debate.....
The stills on the page are actually taken from a piece of film recorded in Bluff Creek in the Six Rivers National Forest in California....

The area was chosen because footprints had been found there in 1957 when work began on a road through what was then all mainly forest...
The workmen found six different sets of tracks ranging from 12.25 to 17 inches in length, this suggested that a few different creatures frequented the area....
The creature in the film is estimated to be 7' 3" in height and weigh about 700 pounds. It left tracks in the mud that were 14.5" long and 6" wide...
To this day the films authenticity remains a subject for debate by both scientists and the ordinary enthusiasts alike....
