Margarett C. Fisher

Margaret C. Fisher was born in November 1849 in Bedford County, Tenn.1 Her father was John Fisher born in Tenn. in 1809 and her mother was Annie S. ?? born in Tenn. in 1819.1 She married W.B. Neely on November 28, 1867 in Bedford County, Tenn.2 They had a son, Thomas S., born in 1868.3 They then immigrated to Texas and had a daughter, Laura Belle, born in March of 1872.3 At some point between 1872 and 1877, W.B. Neely probably died because Margaret married William C. Anderson and they had a son, Harmon, born in November of 1877.3 By 1900, she has had 5 children, 3 with William C. Anderson. Four of the 5 are still at home.4 By 1910, her husband is dead and Margaret is living with her youngest daughter Mary Mohr and her family.5 By 1920, Mary Mohr's husband has died and Margaret is still living there along with her other daughter Laura Belle Neely Smith. All 3 women are widowed.6 Charles E. Mohr, 11 year old son of Mary and Bert Anderson, a 12 year old nephew of Mary are also living in the house. Sources 1. 1850 Census 2.
