William C. Anderson
b: January 1843 d: Bef 1910
William C. Anderson was born in January 1843 in Kentucky1. He married Margaret C. Fisher in 18761. They eventually had 3 children, Harmon, born in November 1877, Terry, born in November 1881, and Mary, born in April 1884 all in Texas1. Margaret had been previously married and had 2 children from this marriage, Thomas S. Neely, born in 1868 in Tenn.2, and Laura Bell Neely, born in March 1872 in Texas2. Both of these children were living with William Anderson in 18802. In 1880, William is a farmer2. In 1900, he is still farming with his own farm and house which are free of any mortgage. His 18 year old son Terry is a blacksmith while his 22 year old son Harmon is attending school. Sixteen year old Mary is a Milliner.1 I am assuming William C. Anderson died between 1900 and 1910 as he is not listed in the 1910 census but his wife is and is living with her son-in-law, Charles A. Mohr and her daughter Mary. William's parents were both born in Kentucky.1,2 Sources 1. 1900 Census 2. 1880 Census
