Mary Hamlin Anderson

b: April 26, 1884 d: June 19, 1957

My grandmother, Mary Hamlin Anderson was born in Texas.1  She was the youngest of 
5 children, the 2 oldest being from her mothers first marriage.2  She married 
Charles Albert Mohr in 1902 and had one son from this marriage, Charles Emile Mohr, 
born in 1908.2

Mary's husband died in 1916, and by 1920 she was the head of household supporting 
her widowed mother, widowed older sister, and a brothers nephew as well as her own 
son.3  

After the death of her husband in Paris Texas in Lamar County, she moved to McKinney 
Texas in Collin County, now a suburb of Dallas.

She died in McKinney on June 19, 1957 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Paris 
Texas next to her husband.4
