KCAR Launch Report: April 2000 Sport Launch

Total impulse of 888.5 Ns, like a partial J motor. There were two clustered flights (#25, #32) and six multi-stage flights (#10, #16, #33, #39, #45, #56). There were 10 families for a total of 12 rocketeers. Although the some rain slowed things down for us for an hour or so, the weather for most of the day was reasonable though a bit cool, with a minor wind from the northeast. The theme for this launch was “multi-staging.” There were a total of six multi-stage flights including both two-stage and three-stage models. Thanks again to our hosts, James and Tricia, for letting us use their field.
