At the end of our time in Australia we took a 10 day trip to Vanuatu to see my Uncle Tom and Aunt Linda who have lived there for the past 29 years. Vanuatu is an island nation 800 km west of Fiji, about 1900 km east of Australia. The country is made up of around 80 islands of all different sizes. The total land area is equal to a little larger than Connecticut. Tom and Linda live on the island of Efate, in Port Vila, which is the capital.
