Last Saturday we took the train an hour or so up north to Gosford, where we met our friend Dave. (below)
We took a bus to Terrigal, which is where he grew up. This is the view from the house his parents are building.

Here is the beach. It was pretty overcast toward the afternoon but we got some sun when we first were there.

There were these great sandstone cliffs that we walked along after swimming for awhile.

After bouldering over the cliffs, we hit this little beach where fisherman were cleaning their catch and feeding the birds the fish guts. It smelled pretty disgusting.

The pelican in the center has a fish caught in it's throat - it took it a few tries to get down.

This dead shark kind of gross, but pretty cool at the same time.

There were TONS of these crabs running all over the rocks and in the tidepools.

Swiss cheese rock

There were two of these fat lizards basking in the sun that we saw on our walk back into town from the shore.
