Anita is the main characters in the story and plays a huge part in the preternatural world of St. Louis. When the books started off she was twenty four years old currently she is twenty five. By the vampire community she is known as the executioner because she is the legal executioner for the state of Missouri and five other states. She also has aquired a number of vampire kills under her belt not all of them being legal. Since she is dating the Ulfric of the local werewolf pac she has become there lupa and is the Namir-ra to the local wereleopard pack since she killed their old alpha. She is also the human servant to Jean Claude.
Outside of dealing with all the preternatural element of St. Louis she is a necromancer who raises the dead for Animators Inc. which is preternatural in it's own right. She also works for the Regional Preternatural Investigation team as their preternatural expert helping them solve all kinds of cases that involve the undead and other such creepy crawlies.
Anita is described as being about five feet four inches tall. She has curly black hair and dark brown almost black eyes that came from her mother being hispanic. She also has pale skin that comes from her fathers Germainc blood. Anita was raised as a Catholic so she was brought up with a lot of morals but since animators were excommunicated from the church she became Episcaplian.
