Faith grows dim...
Last night I lay beside you...though you weren't there...
Merely a lifeless corpse...cold to the touch...
What have I done?...
Why have the Gods..."MY" God...taken you from me?...
Taken us from each other?...
I wrapped my fingers in yours...hoping...
Praying, by some miracle, for a word...something...
A sign that our love was still alive...nothing...
Immortal ears turned away from me...Faith grows dim.
How can I exist?...
How can I continue without my creator?...
The only thing that gave me life?...
How can I stand without you here to keep me strong?...
I sit, watching our candle...waiting for the life to return...
A single flicker of a tiny flame dancing...nothing...
My heart stills...my soul cries out...no answer...
Have your ears turned away from me as well?
