Dergoth was born in Scottland January of 1272. This was around the time of William Wallace. Dergoth lead a simple life, learning about combat and doing chores for his mother. When he was about 14, he heard about the war for Scottlands independance and wanted to go. He was ready. He trained for years. Dergoth was known to have violent impulses and to talk to people who werent there. He also had crazy habits such as biting his own hand...the fixation with blood...and the visions of people he claimed to see. Because of this, Dergoth was not allowed to go to war. One day, saddened by this, he was out fetching his mother some water when a seductive young woman started to talk to him...The woman told him of this need she had....for blood. Dergoth...having these cravings for blood often...said he understood and offered her some of his own. The woman took him up on it and turned him. Dergoth apprenticed under her for years. She as his master. Dergoth's mother thought he had fallen down the well and thought of it as a sign from God that he was crazy and a danger to all. Dergoth was forgotten by all in his village. The woman, who was a great sorceress, taught Dergoth many millions of things. To this day, Dergoth is a highly skilled magick user. The woman, who was known as Dementia, was a tad bit touched in the head. She resides in a small castle on the Aisle of Avalon. Dergoth hasnt see her in a while but plans to go back soon. On his adventures, Dergoth has ran into a few interesting people. Shetanya, an ancient vampyre with dragon blood rescued Dergoth from a cave that a wizard had sealed him in. Dergoth then ran into Collan on his journey. Collan is a fledgling. Dergoth is working on teaching Collan things about magick and being a vamp. Degoth and Collan are very crazy and mischevious. Dergoth has an aquired taste for the people in sanitariums. He says the blood of the crazy is just so much better. That and he can say the craziness runs in his blood. His logic for this is that the people in sanitariums have no chance of getting out, so he is doing them a bit of a favour and putting them out of their misery. Dergoth has a serious side to him...but he hides it with his insanity. Any time he thinks of his mother...or the father he lost in the war...it brings this serious side out..unless someone is around, then he just tries to hide it. He has many hidden secrets and would almost rather die than tell. Dergoth and Collan are the best of buds and enjoy being insane together and livening up places.
