Charm Exchange II
Our first Charm Exchange was a thrilling success with tiny treasures arriving in the mailbox and culminating in this, the second round of exchanges with a holiday theme! We hope you will join in the fun! To sign up just email Denise at: dilmanen@marincf.org .This trading activity will inspire fun~creativity~
friendships~& lots of Tiny Surprises arriving in your mailbox!
Charms~Trinkets~Teddybear Treasures can be made (or purchased) from anything you would like. In the past,
members of this SMALL activity created teddybear treasures made of a variety of things.....shrink-art, beads, buttons, sculptured clays, stitched surprises, painted items, leathercrafts, ribbons, wood, etc. The idea is to make it something that is representative of YOU! It can represent your state or country, your hobbies, your crafts, your pets, ANYTHING you would like! It should be made with the thought in mind that it can be attached to a necklace ribbon, chain, vest, hat, bag, etc. for display purposes. They don't need to be exactly the same, however for a collection such as this, they should be similar in style. It is also nice to include a signature, tiny tag, or label with your name on it so that your trinket will be remembered as "your" contribution.
TO BE INCLUDED ON THE EXCHANGE LIST PLEASE SEND YOUR EMAIL REQUEST ALONG WITH YOUR "SNAIL MAIL" ADDRESS TO: Denise Ilmanen (our Charm Exchange Coordinator) at: dilmanen@marincf.org Denise will compile a list of addresses and email it to each participant. Each person will be responsible for sending a charm to each person on the sign-up list. DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP: September 1, 1999. All Charms Trinkets should be completed and sent to everyone by December 1, 1999. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THIS ACTIVITY ONLY IF YOU WILL BE CONSCIENTIOUS AND RESPONSIBLE ABOUT YOUR COMMITTMENT!
