This wonderful holiday bear exchange will make your holiday more special then you ever could have hoped for! Yes....it's hard to believe but it is time to start thinking about the holidays already!
Our Holiday BEAR-stravaganza exchange will make your tiny teddybear dreams come true! Small groups will share their teddybear creations for truly wonderful surprises during the holidays!
The "Santa Paws" Stocking exchange involves groups of 10 people who will exchange gifts
with each of the other 9 people in the group. It is a gift exchange of teddybears, treasures,accessories
trinkets, ornaments, or any other handmade or purchased gift items that you would like to
share. Perhaps something special from your country or hometown. Handmade gifts are
always the most special yet usually the most inexpensive to make so get started now and
use your imagination...How about sculptured teddies, painted treasures, beaded bears,
fluffy friends, glittering surprises! Though we realize that there is no price value for the
handmade gifts and treasures that are shared, the approximate retail value should be $5 to
$10 for those who include purchased items.
Feel inspired to pack your gifts with festive wrappings, extra special frills, and surprises to make it a memorable exchange. It is always better to give then to receive...but receiving still ain't so bad!

Deadline to sign-up is: September 15, 1999
Deadline for gifts to be sent: December 1, 1999
International gifts should be sent as early as November 15 to make sure they arrive by the holidays!
- 5 participants will be assigned to groups for a bear exchange according to experience/detail level.
- Advanced- this group will be an all-out extravagant bear creation for artists who want to create something extra special for exchanging!
- Intermediate-this group will also involve special bears but without the same emphasis of extravagance as with the advanced group. Great for confident hobbyists, and artists without the time to do an intricate advanced project.
- Beginners- this is for EVERYONE! Don't be embarrassed about participating! There is nothing better then getting a surprise handful of tiny teddybear hugs in the mail....even if his ears aren't perfectly straight...or his nose is a bit crooked! It's the heartfelt handmade hugs that mean the most!
- Group assignments and individual addresses will be emailed to all participants.
- Each participant is responsible for sending the gifts to each of the other group members by the specified deadline of December 15th.
