The Bed We Make

pain lurks in the dark recesses
of the subconcious, threatening
to spring forth in a violent rage,
though i try to drown it in my
own blood, it still lingers...

all the emotions of the past,
come rushing forward into the
present, threatening to upset
the delicate balance of sanity,
and soon the scales will tip....

who designs these times,
that try the very strings of
one's being, turning every feeling,
from complete demonic suffering,
to pure rapturous joy, into a hell
that must be relived, day after day...

all these things are the work of the
one who experiences them, that is the
thorn that is stuck in my side, so that
for every time that it is twisted, only
i can feel the blame....

Farewell

You never loved me,
But I always loved you.
Because you love her,
I'll say adieu.
Farewell my love,
Farewell to thee,
Always remember,
You are loved by me.
Though you're gone,
In my heart you'll stay.
Perhaps in the end
It is better that way.
Farewell my love,
Farewell to thee.
Remember;
Your happiness in love,
Is blessed by me.

Dreaming

I'm dreaming,
But that's all it is.
Dreaming.
Dreaming of you and me together,
Knowing it might never happen,
But wishing so desperately
That it were true.
That one perfect day we'd be
Together
In a secret world
All to ourselves.
Nothing could ruin the
Special moment of our
Tranquility.
With your arm around me,
We stand as one
Defying all who said it
Couldn't be done.
But it's just a dream
Some say.
A dream
Without a plan.
But to me it's a dream
Where I get closer to the
Goal
Everyday.

Farewell

There is no feeling like that of a friend
at a special place you like to be;
For not all can be in that place at once
just us two, you and me.

Waking at sunrise, no sight compares,
the bright brilliant colors as everyone stares.
Not only the two of us look at this sight;
we all sit and cry at the end of the night.

The memories of the month we all remember
for in our minds they will stay forever.
or will they fade like the sunset,
and become names and faces we just forget.

The candle light’s flicker:
The young girls don’t know.
The end is tomorrow.
Our emotions show.

Sisters we became, knowing all about one another;
just to be torn apart at the seams.
Now we would go our separate ways;
Would any of us find our dreams?

Thinking each day after it was over,
with no less emotion than before,
alone, sitting, crying,
hurting deep in the core.

In each of our hearts
there will forever be
that special place;
the one for just you and me.

We both know it’s just not the same
as it was that day.
We know our hearts will always be there
even if we can’t stay.
