This is a new version of the virtual portfolio, which I've had online for years now. It's more streamlined and organized. With that said, sit back and enjoy.

Artwork For CDs

TIM DRACKERT TRIO: BUTTERFLY

The musical style is free jazz, so I made a butterfly shape out of an ink blot, to give that feeling of it not being cut and dry.

EXPERIMENTATION STATION: HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION

Just a picture from the summer at Cedar Point (where the CD was recorded), and fun with layouts, when I was beginning.

JONATHAN MOODY: ROME

The music was taken off the Vatican online site...! I used some really intense colors that contrasted well with the black background.

JONATHAN MOODY: A CRUSADE OF ONE

No real computer wizardry here. I started with a quick pencil sketch, and when penning it, I let the contours take over. A good example of how I work with pencil and paper.

Logo Design & Graphics

AMERIFONE

This company has calling cards around the entire nation, so the idea of using a map and turning it into a phone was a very appealing idea to me, and to the company as well.

OLD BAPTIST CHURCH

This was a 2' x 4' design that would be on their car, in order to let the people know of the chuch's 2nd Annual Hollywood Night/Academy Awards. So, I let simplicity reign, and only used one other color besides black & white, and gave them two concepts.

RICKENBACKER LIGHTSHOW

The picture was taken at Elderly Instruments. The project was to take a black and white photo and colorize it in Photoshop.

BOOTSY!

The project was to create something in Freehand that utilized a lot of the concepts we had been learning. I don't know why, but after a while, the funk just appeared.

IF MY HEAD WAS A FISHBOWL

The project was to create an interesting self portrait in Photoshop, that would show your interests. Maybe I was thinking in more of a Dali frame of mind, but the guy in it is my old roommate, Big Mike.

THE COFFEEHOUSE OF THE GLOWING ONION

The project was to incorporate different images into a cohesive theme. I used pictures of hallmates, sketches and clip art to get this cool vibe.

Miscellaneous

A BAYWATCH SORCERESS

I used a pic my roommate had of Yasmine Bleethe, and some old pics I screwed around with to come up with this idea.

UNTITLED

I tried to color this the opposite of the norm; instead of light to dark, I started with the black.

ME

This is the first pic I did with my Wacom Graphics Tablet, and I still like it. It even graces the front of one of my credit cards.
