for years now. It's more streamlined and organized. With that said,

TIM DRACKERT TRIO: BUTTERFLY
The musical style is free jazz, so I made a butterfly
shape out of an ink blot, to give that feeling of it not being cut and
EXPERIMENTATION STATION: HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION
Just a picture from the summer at Cedar Point (where
the CD was recorded), and fun with layouts, when I was beginning.
The music was taken off the Vatican online site...!
I used some really intense colors that contrasted well with the black
No real computer wizardry here. I started with a quick
pencil sketch, and when penning it, I let the contours take over. A
good example of how I work with pencil and paper.
This company has calling cards around the entire nation, so the idea
of using a map and turning it into a phone was a very appealing idea
to me, and to the company as well.
This was a 2' x 4' design that would be on their car,
in order to let the people know of the chuch's 2nd Annual Hollywood
Night/Academy Awards. So, I let simplicity reign, and only used one
other color besides black & white, and gave them two concepts.
The picture was taken at Elderly Instruments. The project
was to take a black and white photo and colorize it in Photoshop.
The project was to create something in Freehand that
utilized a lot of the concepts we had been learning. I don't know why,
but after a while, the funk just appeared.
The project was to create an interesting self portrait
in Photoshop, that would show your interests. Maybe I was thinking in
more of a Dali frame of mind, but the guy in it is my old roommate,
The project was to incorporate different images into
a cohesive theme. I used pictures of hallmates, sketches and clip art
to get this cool vibe.
I used a pic my roommate had of Yasmine Bleethe, and
some old pics I screwed around with to come up with this idea.
I tried to color this the opposite of the norm; instead
of light to dark, I started with the black.
This is the first pic I did with my Wacom Graphics Tablet,
and I still like it. It even graces the front of one of my credit cards.
