HI. I'm . This page is devoted to llamas. You might ask why someone would devote a page to llamas and its because they are neat. just plain old neat.
You might not be familiar with the Sesame Street song, "Me and My Llama". This song teaches little kids that the dentist is not so scary.
There are a couple of great children's books out there that are about llamas that I know about. One is "Is Your Mama a Llama?" by Deborah Guarino. The other is "Fifty-five Grandmas and Llama" by Lynn Manuel. ENJOY!
A little llama llymeric by Mike Bickel:Once there was a llama, Jose
Who taught Spanish in south Monterrey. He said "Yama", not Lamais the way that my mamasaid "llama" in south Paraguay.
a little tale about a llama:
Lleon the llama liked to clopp everywhere he went. He thought that must be why he had hooves, so he could clop. ::clop:: ::clop:: ::clop:: Lleon thought that the noise his hooves made on cement was especially neat. He would clop a lot on cement.
To remedy this fit of lloneliness, Lleon llazily sauntered into the theater, not wishing to disturb those theater types. Suddenly, before he knew it, he was being llaughed at on stage. But he noticed as he walked out that his hooves were making the most lovely clopping noise he had ever heard. He was so exited that he forgot the llaughter and started clopping all over everywhere. The hollow stage made such llovely sounds.
Now you might expect in a tale of this variety to have a llama be instantly accepted as part of the theater group so he could clop all over all the time for lots of people and they would pay llots and llots of money to see Lleon clop. But, no. Thats not reality. The theater wasn't meant for a llama to clop. Besides, if they did that, their production of Waiting for Godot would have to end. Nope. That would be just bad.
So, instead, Lleon got a ride home from one of his new theater friends and was able to talk about his fun time clopping on stage for a llovely llaughing audience to his grandchildren.
