Alien V

FOX still reviewing scripts! OK, people! I have a strong feeling this one's for real, because I've checked it out. I checked my mail this morning and someone e-mailed me some info on Aliens 5! At first I thought it was a bogus scoop, but then I read it again the following day, and became aware of how authentic it really seemed. Anyway, let's get to the point. This person wishes to remain anonymous, so my lips are completely seeled. He starts off by telling me that Joss Whedon's ("Alien Resurrection", "Buffy") script has not been approved by FOX, something we already know. According to this scooper, Whedon hasn't even completed a script, but only ideas. However, another script has been submited to FOX, and they are quite pleased with this new script. The only problem with this new story named "Alien : The Lost War" is that Ripley's character is not included. The bottom line is that FOX is now trying to decide whether to choose Whedon's ideas, or this new script if the writer agrees to incorporate Ripley. Why do I feel this is a true story? Trust me, this one is true. Unfortunatly, I can't tell you why. "Sci-Fi Universe" says Weaver is weaving Alien 5 The latest issue of Sci-Fi Universe tells us that Sigourney Weaver herself has written a script for Alien 5, and that she's getting $20 million for it. Even though the story above states that only two writers are currently being considered, we shouldn't rule out that Weaver might be a third solution. I don't think the $20 million part is true, though. She might get that much to play Ripley in the movie AND write the script, but not just for the script. Chances are in favour of one of the next two Alien movies will take place on earth. Got any more information? Then E-mail me now! I will give you credit if you wish.
