PWL News and Information for July 13, 1999.
One day ahead of schedule, likely a new record for the PWL! Here
are the matches booked for the July 31 PWL: IN YOUR HEAD '99 supershow:
-
World heavyweight champion THE TERROR defends against JOE THE GIANT;
-
North American heavyweight champion PLAGUE defends the title against FAT
ALBERT;
-
World tag team champions STRIKE FORCE will be challenged by both THE PILLARS
OF PAIN and HAARLEM HEAT in a Three-Way Dance for the tag team gold;
-
World cruiserweight champion VENOM defends his PWL strap against DUH CHEE;
-
Women's World champion URSA takes on both ELIZA BLADE and DARK ANGEL in
another Three-Way Dance;
-
Midgets' World champion CAP'N CRUNCH will defend the belt against ORKO
(accompanied by old friend SKELETOR).
What's that you say? Those heavyweight title matches seem a trifle
boring to you, eh? Well, those matches could be tweaked around somewhat,
that is, if the participants request some changes. Additionally,
we will book some added matches, if time permits us, and hopefully we can
dig up some "celebrities" to appear at this year's IYH.
In other PWL N&I...

Congratulations to WAFFLE HOUSE for being mentioned yet again, favorably,
on a rival TV wrestling program(me).
-
Look for RONALD McDONALD to receive a massive push soon. While the
Ronnie Mac/PWL relationship had been shaky recently, the hamburger-happy
clown has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make things right.
-
Now that Ronald is in our good graces again, a jealous BOZO THE CLOWN has
threatened to quit the PWL. At least, that's what his little friend
BUTCH is saying. Seeing as how they've been collecting PWL paychecks
and not even bothering to beg us to put them on our top ten rankings, it
wouldn't hurt us much to lose them.
-
The PWL has been looking to expand its house show schedule. President
GENE WEST sent some Suits out to scout various sites in the PWL's strongholds
(Missouri, Illinois, England).
-
Those recent rumors of wrestlers signing with the PWL? Well, nothing
yet on that. Sorry.
That's it for today, everybody. Thanks for checking out PWL ONLINE!
